Amazing customer service, top notch.
A bit of back story - Our family member is deathly allergic to dairy of any kind, even the smallest of cross contamination amounts; so ordering out can be a little precarious. I originally ordered via DoorDash to Wendys and informed them of our allergy concerns and they were hesitant to do the order. They fulfilled the order and ended up still putting cheese on the meal, which rendered it inedible ($30 wasted, DoorDash only would refund $5). I called back to that Wendys, not to complain, argue, or ask for a refund. Quite literally offering to pay (again) for an entirely other meal, and they refused me service, mentioned I was to take it up with DoorDash and wouldn't help. Uh what?
Aaaand que Michaela - I called McDonalds, not only was I greeted by a friendly and warm person but she was incredibly understanding of the situation, sympathized with Wendys dropping the ball multiple times, happily informed her kitchen, staff and up front to be aware of a dairy allergy. I confirmed she could take on the request, said I would call back with an order number, did so and she made me feel so assured of the situation. This is the level of customer service and kindness that deserves recognition. I am so grateful that I only hung up five minutes ago and I was compelled to write this review. Read moreWent through the drive through today and paid over 70$ for one kids meals and three adult meals. We were missing the French fries in every single meal except for the kids meal. Obviously didn’t notice until we got home. I tried calling the restaurant 7 times and all I got was the busy signal!!! When I gave my kids the food that was there, I took the receipt and drove back to the McDonalds to politely request for my missing items I paid for. Not only did the women accuse me of lying but the attitude was disgusting!!!!! She demanded I show her the bag with food in it to prove my fry’s were missing. I explained my kids are eating at home. And I didn’t notice they were missing until I got home, and tried calling with no answer. She then rudely accused me of lying again saying that her staff has “three” different bag checkers and they all said it was there. I heard her tell a young man in the back to “just give me the fry’s this time, but she believes her staff and thinks it’s suspicious that I returned 30 minutes later!!” Are you kidding me lady??? You think I want to waste my time driving back all the way back to your establishment to steel from you???? Read moreMy order is always wrong. It doesn't matter if I go through drive through, use skip the dishes or go in and order on my own. I either get the wrong burger, missing sauces, no utensils, I got Spicy nuggets instead of regular ones. Missing wraps, missing toy in kids meal, missing items in kids meal like apples or fries... It's really frustrating. I've called and asked for the manager and ended up with a free value meal coupon.... it happened all again and I had the opportunity to fill in a survey and of course left my opinions. I was then reached out by a general manager of this location, asked for my mailing address to send me another coupon for a value meal, big deal. I replied with my address and also with suggestions and questions and never heard back. Never even recieved the coupon. Just make sure you check your bags, and check them good.
