Do NOT ORDER FROM POPEYES ONLINE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED! 🤬
I placed an order today and it just spun and spun saying placing your order but never actually completed it! Check my bank account and they took $21.47 from my account! Go to popeyes and ask for my mobile order, they say they never got an order. I tell them I can prove they took my money. Buddy says not their problem, it was online so you have to call online support. So I am like ok what is the number? Buddy says "I dont know" so I am like "look you took my money, so either you refund me or give me my order." So he is like "whats your order #" well good God I already explained to him and another worker the damn thing just kept spinning and never gave me an order number but it took my money! Again I get the thats not our problem call support. I am like are you f 'g kidding me??? You took my money, won't refund or give me what I ordered, won't give me the number to call, and basically robbed me??? Im like "you know that money comes to this store, rhe money the online stole is sent to this store, and there is only one Popeyes in Timmins! So why refuse me MY money or my order when I can prove you took my money!!!" Even told him I would call the owner Lorne Feldman who my ex and I gave tons of business to over the 10 yrs he operated as a Roofer, likely millions of dollars. Buddy chuckles and says "you do that" like he thinks I am full of it. When it is absolute truth my ex spent likely over a million dollars at Feldman's over the years!!!
I hope Lorne realizes how bad for business it is to have staff that treat customers this way when they can PROVE they were charged!! The staff should at the bare minimum be able to give you an actual support number and not just laugh in your face that you were robbed by the store's online ordering.
Absolutely discusting to do this to customers.
The guy was absolutely rude and unhelpful.
I loved Popeyes but after this experience I WILL NEVER EVER BUY A DAMNED THING FROM THERE EVER AGAIN. THEIVES!!!!!!!!🤬
Needless to say I left very angry, enough so that I had to pull over into the A&W parking lot because I was so upset I broke down crying. I am not rich, and to have my. money stolen by a restaurant you should be able to trust is not right! Not right to put a customer through this, I searched and searched for a support number...found one call it and guess what? No one answered and the message tells you to go to a web address for support...but uts in the states so it wont even let you chat with a support person cause you need to input a ZIP code not a postal code. Ffs...so I am out $21.47 and no one is eating tonight. Thanks to Popeyes stealing my money. And the horrific staff that refused to make it right.
Even KFC wouldnt do this, they would of given you the order once you showed you were charged. Now I.have to spend countless time trying to get someone to help me get my money back. NO CUSTOMER SHOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS KIND OF STRESS OR HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET THEIR MONEY BACK. HORRIFIC...

My wife and I both got a 5pc tender platter, ALL 10 pieces of chicken tasted like fish. My wife and I absolutely HATE fish.
When phoning to let them know and ask for a replacement meal next time we are in Timmins, I am told by the on-shift manager “Sanjay” that they do not put the chicken in the same fryer. I told him, well it obviously happened because we couldn’t even eat our meals.
He then went on continuing to try and say they don’t put the chicken into the fryer. Not wanting to take accountability for it. He did not even want to compensate me with free tenders the next visit. I had to continue to tell him that it TASTES LIKE FISH. NOT CHICKEN. That is NOT acceptable. Whatsoever.

Literally a chicken. How hard is that to do? Half the time we end up with 1 piece of white meat if we're lucky. Owner should go visit Sudbury, or literally any other location, and figure out how to run a Popeyes properly. Stop being cheap AF and throw out the old stale fries and cold chicken that didn't sell.
