I'm A Little Hot Crab is a restaurant that has been on my radar for quite some time. Initially familiar with their takeout spot in North York, stumbling upon their sit-down location was a delightful surprise.

From the moment you spot their unmistakable crab logo holding a spatula, you know you're in for something special. Inside, the attention to detail is evident—from the cleanliness to the high-quality furnishings, it's clear that the owners have poured their hearts into creating a welcoming ambiance.

The service deserves special mention. The staff warmly greet you upon arrival and ensure your comfort throughout the meal, effortlessly replacing bowls for shells and providing extra napkins. What's more is that they provide high-quality bibs to protect diners from any splatter. Their attentiveness rivals that of Michelin-starred establishments.

I was particularly impressed by their gesture of adjusting the price of our crab dish when it didn't meet their weight standard. It's these small yet meaningful gestures that underscore the restaurant's commitment to both quality and customer satisfaction.

Now, onto the main event: the Singapore Chilli Crab and Shiso Spicy Clams. Both dishes were presented beautifully, but it was the Singapore Chilli Crab that stole the show. Its presentation surpassed even that of Laut Singapura, an ex-Michelin restaurant.

The clams, dressed in spicy oil and complemented by the herbaceousness of the shiso, were plentiful and satisfying. As for the chilli crab sauce, it was sensational—rich, perfectly balanced in spices, and enhanced by the silkiness of the egg drop. The crab itself was cooked to perfection, yielding effortlessly, unveiling its sweet juicy meat.

To end the meal, a complimentary vanilla ice cream cone with pop rocks cleansed our palates and leaving us feeling full and satisfied.

I'm A Little Hot Crab easily earns a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars. It's an impressive establishment that is sure to become a favorite dining...

We had an AMAZING dinner at I’m a little hot crab!!🦀🦀🤤

We got the 3lbs Dungeness Crab 🦀 that is cooked in the delicious addicting chilli crab sauce!!! It’s rich, sweet and savoury, and slight spicy! It was served with fresh and hot Mantou buns. They also took apart the crab for us so that it was easier to eat and share amongst us which was great.

We also got a few sides to share as well! The Thai-Styled Salmon Sashimi was really refreshing and unique! We’ve never seen sashimi served like this before. The sauce was fresh from the herbs like cilantro, little garlicky, spicy from the thai chillies, tart and citrusy from the calamansi! It was served with slices of onions and mango. This was really good!

We also got the Crispy Cereal Tiger Prawns which were also great! Big juicy and plump prawns coated in this slightly sweet cereal.

We also got the side of fried rice which was a classic egg, shrimp and veggie rice. It was also great!!! And it was even better topped with the sweet chilli crab sauce🤤🤤

To end it off, each person can get 1 free vanilla cone!!! This ice cream was actually so good too😋 like a softer, creamier Mcdonalds vanilla cone. It was topped with pop rocks??? It was slightly popping in our mouths😮

Our whole meal for 5 people came out to about $45 for each person, we were all so satisfied😋 Chilli crab is definitely a splurge meal but a must try!

Overall, we had THE BESTTT dinner here!! The service was great and really quick too! Our whole meal came out within 15-20 mins? Everything was made to order, hot, steamy, and fresh! You get little aprons to wear and gloves to eat with because it can get messsyyy. They have so many different crab and lobster dishes that we will definitely be back to...

As a seafood lover, is it just me or there isn't a lot of good quality seafood restaurants in the GTA? well... I'm a hot little crab is changing the game!! (Took my parents for father's day and they loved it, they are picky too)

They're well known for their fresh seafood specifically the dungeness crab! We got the Singaporean 3LB flavour. A sweet tomato chilli flavour, good portion and pricing. only thing is you have to really dig in when eating it but they provide scissors and gloves! I also got the Black pepper Lobster (2 lobster each plate) The best flavour ever, not even joking. The lobster was juicy, sweet but a strong spicy pepper flavour. Both came with buns you can dip and it was super yummy! Personally liked the lobster more? but I would definitely get the Crab with black pepper sauce next time. my parents liked both the same.

For starters, the best ones had to be the spicy clams and seafood salad. Both were truly addicting and refreshing! The shrimp fried rice was solid if you're a fan. But, I would skip out on the broccoli with garlic as it didn't have a lot of flavour.

The restaurant is quite small with only a few tables, but I didn't have to wait on a Monday night ( you can make resos on weekdays I think but not the weekend) it was still busy though for a weekday. Service was friendly but servers didn't check up on the table frequently but wasn't a big deal as we were too busy eating and it was messy‍ also 5 percent discount on CASH. They only accept debit and...
