TL;DR: Great poke bowls, good service, but a bit pricier than you would think. Still a good place for a quick bite if you’re in the area. Ono Poke Bar and Rain Sushi operates out of the same store front, however, the poke bowls seem to have a bit better quality ingredients. I have already reviewed Rain Sushi, so check that out after for a more in depth review! To my surprise, I really enjoyed the poke bowls from Ono Poke Bar. I usually get the Big Island, which is salmon based, with a brown rice base. The service is good; it’s about a 10-15min wait time during regular times but 20+ mins during lunch rush and dinner rush, as expected. I also liked the new interior design of the place, but it looks like it’s strictly take out as they removed the tables and seats. Overall, I’m glad I gave Ono a chance with their poke as the Rain Sushi side of the business has been inconsistent with quality. Ono Poke Bar have great poke bowls and that’s all I come here for now. I would recommend Big Island if you’re a salmon lover and want a refreshing pineapple treat in it. Just be prepared to spend a bit more.

First time trying a Poke bowl so I came in with no expectations. The food here is delicious- the quality of the ingredients felt rich enough and the meal presented many different flavours all of which complemented it well. The meal pricing is appropriate given the quantity you receive. The lady in the front was nice and had good customer service. I am looking forward to returning.

Ordered poke bowl. I then saw that this Green color is coming out of the seaweed. That's disgusting. Please use good ingredients. The only reason I added seaweed to the poke bowl is because I like it and it's healthy. But this is absolutely disgusting. Either do not provide non consumable color added cheap ingredients or just take it off from your list.

Got the Spicy Mango Salmon with white rice base poke bowl. Service was fast and got a free water as well. I usually don't expect fast service during lunch rushes because of how busy it is but they were phenomenal here!

As others have mentioned, this is more of a takeout and go type of spot. If anything there is seating for 1-2 people.

Personally I would of liked more sauce but that's because I like a lot of sauce on my poke bowls. The flavor combo was great and hits the spot if you're craving a no fuss poke bowl.

Overall, for a local poke spot they're great and I'd recommend them for anyone looking to quickly satisfy their poke craving. Just don't...

Came to pick up an order on the weekend and the restaurant was closed during supposedly open hours. Don’t accept orders if you’re not bothering to open! It was clear from looking inside that it had not even been opened at all - no staff, no prepped food, no lights. Store hours are printed on the door so it was not my mistake. I knocked, and I phoned the number on the store window, and no response. Waste of 2 hours. Very disappointing. I won’t be coming back. I learned now to always phone before going to confirm a place is...
