When I first arrived at this restaurant, I was happy knowing an A&W was opening across the Humber Lakeshore college. I placed my order and everything went well, ordered 4 wraps, a teen burger combo and even saw on the screen just to make sure that's what was punched in. There was only one person in front of me that ordered food for her daughter so there was no rush at all in this restaurant.
I was looking at them make my food and noticed that there were 7 people in the kitchen making the food, 3 of them were working on the teen burger, I know this because the manager kept making them throw out the teen burger because they weren't making it correct. I saw 4 teen burgers get thrown out, then they finally got the 5th one right. I waited approximately 15 minutes for the food after seeing them throw it out after not making it correctly again and again and so many people working on the food and just looking.
When I finally got my order I was thankful to leave and when I reached to check my order, I noticed that there were only 2 wraps in the bag when I had ordered 4 and even double checked she punched in 4 into the system. Even the two chicken wraps I had received had a nasty piece of lettuce, literally looking like a skinny piece of paper on the wrap. The teen burger was all over the place as well, and didn't taste good. After all of this I called the restaurant and went straight to voicemail, did not even receive a receipt after asking for one.
Very disappointed. Will not be back to this location ever again, if You want food that will take forever and food that is missing and made incorrectly, then go ahead...

My name is Jenna and I was in your store tonight approx 5pm Friday October 16 Lakeshore Blvd W.
For a Friday night, two staff members running your restaurant is totally unfair for them and the customer. It is also unprofessional as a manager to make a schedule like that and make your staff suffer. Firstly, I came in to 6 people infront of me waiting for their meal. Brandon took orders to keep the line going, but also assisted the cook, Jasleen. I waited a total 45 minutes from waiting to place my order to actually getting it.
My intent of this email is to compliment your two staff working Brandon and Jasleen. I watched them work under pressure and prepare several meals while maintaining a calm environment. It is totally unfair for these two staff. For the most part, the people infront of me were understanding about their wait knowing it was not Brandon and Jasleen's fault but the fault of the managee for scheduling two staff for a Friday night. After each person got their meal, I over heard Brandon apologize to each person for the wait. Both your staff worked as a team quickly and accurately to fulfill each order as quick as they could. Jasleen remainded calm while continously making multiple order. These two deserve recognition for their efforts and great service minus the massive wait time that was totally not their fault. I complimented both for their great work.

I reviewed this location a year ago, and am happy to report that they have a good crew....cant say same for owner.
He hides to avoid customers...and rightly so. He is fine with CONTINUOUSLY FILTHY windows and equipment...and CONTINUOUSLY has only one of 3 washrooms open.
Why? He is too cheap to pay 20 dollars a month to keep windows clean, or pay staff to clean the other washrooms.
In short....he pockets the cash and couldn't care less about cleanliness or service.
When I simply mentioned that one combo sale cash a month was enough to keep the windows clean he asks "how many restaurants do you own"? As if thats a prerequisite to recognizing dirt.

If you want to see management ignore maskless customers and then watch as a gang of maskless customers Chase an old man down the street and beat him this is the A&W for you!
It's been over a week since my assault...so I thought I'd take advantage of the replacement meal offerred by the franchise owner. I called and asked what would happen if there was a group of maskless teenagers in the store. I was told "what can I do I'm not their parent" In other words....no change. Dissappointing.
Glad to report that the worst staff have disappeared. Now, 9 times out of 10 i get quick...
