Zakopane is my favourite Polish deli in Toronto. I LOVE the potato pancakes so much, and the huge selection of tasty delights❤️ I usually get the schnitzel, fish, goose pâté, sausage, smoked swiss cheese, grandfather ham, cabbage rolls, and the lasagna when it's available😋 You can buy bread, pickles, tomatoes, soup, crackers, and even chocolate. The owner is lovely, and I enjoy hearing her speak Polish with her customers. The staff can speak Ukrainian too, so you get a nice mix of people, including those of us who only speak English. I finally went into this deli. I had the sausage and perogies for lunch today. I'll come in again for the mouth-watering sausage-I'll make sure I come in earlier to get the best selling potato pancakes. I also bought the cheese desserts-yummy!
