Hands down, my new favourite brunch spot ever. One of the best and loveliest experiences I’ve had dining in and some of the best food I’ve eaten.
Stumbled upon this place with my girlfriend as we saw it from a local tik tok - in which we called and they mentioned they closed in about an hour so we scurried over!
We made it on time and decided to order the salmon benny + duck confit benny + chocofraise crepe and a matcha latte + thai iced tea. They mentioned everything was made in house using premium ingredients and wow - they certainly were right. We haven’t been big fans of breakfast food ever and when we tried the benny’s …. oh my goodness they were absolutely delicious and so beautifully presented/plated! The eggs and hollandaise sauce were insanely fresh as well as the croissants and they were amazing! Loved it. 5/5! The potatoes and salad that came with it made it such a balanced meal and was so fresh and tasty.
The chocofraise crepes were fantastic and not overly sweet - made with chocolate instead of nutella which is a nice refreshing change. Most places use nutella and i’m not a fan personally, but this was absolutely amazing!
The thai iced tea and matcha tea was also amazing, not too sweet but just perfect and rich in flavour.
The service was phenomenal, some of the sweetest and kindest ladies working there! We were coming up on closing time for their doors, but they definitely didn’t make us feel pressured at all as we mentioned we’d be outta there before close to not take up their weekend. The ladies were so sweet and assured us that there was no rush and that we could finish, which made us feel really welcomed! My girlfriend and I chatted with them for a bit which was nice, they were super kind! Even gave us some banana bread to share on the ride back as they had some extras over in their bakery case.
BEST BREAKFAST EVER!
5/5 stars for sure - food was amazing, service was amazing, I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a breakfast / brunch spot. Best breakfast of my life and...
Read moreThe best brunch place I’ve ever been to. The food is absolutely delicious with fair prices and the service is top tier. Me and my boyfriend chose this place last minute around half an hour before close and we will definitely be returning.
We ordered the salmon benny as well as the duck confit benny for mains. The croissant was extremely fresh (turns out everything is made in-house from their bread down to their mayo!) The eggs were poached perfectly with delectable hollandaise sauce. The salmon although smoked could easily be mistaken for sashimi because of the amazing texture and freshness, the duck confit was cooked and pulled to perfection. It comes with home fries (not greasy, seasoned great) as well with a spring salad which contains arugula, walnuts, strawberry, and some delicious sauce I don’t know the name of.
We shared a chocolate strawberry crepe. I love crepes, especially chocolate strawberry, but most places use Nutella which I find too overpowering and make me feel groggy after. This place uses a delicious semi? dark chocolate sauce which balances the sweetness of the fresh strawberries perfectly.
For drinks we chose the Thai milk tea and matcha latte, we were very happy that these iced drinks tasted authentic and not powdery like other places such as Starbucks!
Although we still had some food on our plates by the time the cafe was closed, the workers insisted we don’t rush and take our time to finish. When my boyfriend went to pay they further insisted it was okay for us to take our time! We thanked them for their amazing service and told them it was our first time, they gave us two delicious slices of banana bread to take home for free!
You will not be disappointed by this place! Our total was around ~$60 which is similar to places like Sunset Grill for 3 mains + 2 drinks. The food is amazing and the service is some of the best I’ve seen. We will be making this our...
Read more1st time and probably the last time we order from here. We ordered the brunch box and the avocado Benny. The avocado Benny was delicious, but unfortunately, all the food was cold, and 1/2 of it looked better than it tasted. The biggest disappointment was the chocolate chip banana bread. It was $5 we figured we were going to get a small loaf or at least enough for 2 people. Unfortunately, we only received a thin slice, which was quite a disappointment. It was not advertised that way and really should say "a slice" on the menu so that you know what you're getting. When we tried to eat it and it was stale and crusty on one side and had obviously been sitting exposed to air. (The piece on the left in the picture versus the moist side on the right) I tried one bite and threw out the rest as it was not palatable anymore. Overall, we thought we had found our new go-to breakfast place because the pictures and food items sounded so fantastic, but we were ultimately a little disappointed. Would not recommend for ordering out. Maybe dining in might be better...
A quick update after the owners' response. I was not offered a refund! The lady on the phone was somewhat polite and offered to pass on my comment.
Also, I understood that it was Uber and not the restaurant's fault that my food was cold, which is why I recommended that your customers would be better off to eat in...
