Food is delicious and the portion side is always a plus. I have tried everything on their menu. I would suggest the waakye over the jollof rice. Waakye is very delicious compared to other places. Fufu and peanut soup is yummy as well. Their sides of meats (goat, chicken, turkey) are good. However, the oil they used, I didn’t like the taste of the fried meats. Baked chicken is the best. So much favour. I wish the same favour would be added to the Jollof. Spinach stew was not my favourite. The food can either be a spicy or lack salt. The salt part is good because you can always add salt to your food. Fried yam was not my favourite. It could be that the Uber driver took long to deliver. Overall, I have spent $250.00 alone in the month of March. It was amazing supporting my people’s restaurant....

The BEST GHANAIAN RESTAURANT in Toronto. The food is tasty - a real home-made !!!! Have tried other GhanaIan restaurants but they couldn't BEAT Afro Continental. I have eaten fufu with all their soups, Banku and the okra stew is my favourite ( you will bow) or with fried Tilapia plus real " Bukom red pepper - ( I tell you , you will sweat all the "junk food after finishing it). The Red - Red is crazy, that is my wife's favourite - " it will go you square, like we say back at home). Don't give it a try , you just go and do it. You will NEVER regret. Please make sure you order your meal before you get there so that you start the game right the way! Why wait? (LOL). Thank you Auntie - the Chief Cook and God bless the entire staff of AC! Keep up the...

I would not send anybody here if my life and their life depended on it I can't hear it today August 31st at 11:47 a.m. and was greeted by a young girl who's currently in the process of bleaching her skin. The bleach can definitely be affecting her attitude because it's soft as well as her math skills. This is my first time here and it was just a complete horrible experience she's rude she likes customer service and she doesn't know how to count originally on the phone when she taught me that chicken jollof rice or gel off rice with chicken would be $26 so when I arrived at the store I gave her $51 to get back $25 change without telling me how much things was she took my money and gave me back $30 change. They're just simply has to be a...

Stopped by Afro Continental Ghanaian Restaurant for dinner with a friend and really enjoyed the food. I had the waakye and goat suya; both were delicious and well-seasoned. The prices were quite affordable and definitely competitive compared to other similar spots in the area. My friend got the jollof rice with meat and she enjoyed her dish as well. As for the service…it’s about what you’d expect from a typical African restaurant. Nothing extraordinary, but it got the job done. At the end of the day, the food made it worth it. We’d definitely come back but only for takeout.

Please disregard the poor reviews. This restaurant is by far the BEST place to find authentic Ghanian cuisine. I highly highly highly recommend the jollof with chicken and salad. I'm salivating at the mere thought of it. If I could have it everyday I would. the portion you get for the price is very fair as well. My only complaint is that they don't have a Mississauga location. Afro Continental has a customer for life

This place deserve zero stars in my book. The clerk was sitting there, looking at me like he had somewhere better to be. No smiles, no menu. Talking to him was like pulling teeth. I saw the worst diehuo I have ever seen in my life. The soup tastes like it was mixed with soap. The okro was not slimy, the duo was lumpy. The meat was stale. I threw the whole meal away. Waste of 14 dollars. Never going back.
