This post is 3 weeks late, but I mean every single word I’m about to type. Please, if you have the opportunity to check out this location (at Steeles Ave West and Rossdean Dr) please do. If you don’t have an opportunity, find one. The most delicious roti are made here…fresh. Everything is fresh! The macaroni pie (with bbq drizzle) is chef’s kiss. Doubles and the oxtail dinner is amazing. The food is priced reasonably and is very affordable, the staff however are priceless…
I had my daughter with me in the car one evening and Aneal himself (a wonderful man) brought my order out to our car. This kind of customer service is rare. Every foodie/dining patron knows this…there are too many establishments that value their customers these days. Times are tough for everybody so it’s nice when you come across a place that has a “human touch”.
Despite the intersection being busy and often congested with traffic, please check out this location. Well worth it and you won’t be disappointed. My post is 3 weeks late, but I’ve been going there once a week for...

I got the Cajun catfish, the wives ordered the jerk chicken and he split the plates between BBQ and Jerk. I also had oxtail soup and my friend had goat curry. Service was amazing from the owner. He also offered them a third piece of jerk chicken which they took and thoroughly enjoyed the next day. Definitely a go to place for Caribbean cuisine. Only drawback was the boisterous teenage boys eating near us. There is only maybe seating for 20-25 people in the restaurant. Parking was easy on the street out front or one of the many municipal lots in downtown...
Read moreHaving experienced both the Richmond Hill and Toronto locations of Aneal's Taste of the Islands, I can confidently say this establishment delivers authentic Trinidadian cuisine at its finest. The roti, a true measure of Caribbean culinary expertise, is consistently excellent at both locations.
I've enjoyed both dine-in service at the Richmond Hill location and takeout from their Toronto spot. The quality remains impeccable regardless of the dining format. What sets Aneal's apart is their unwavering commitment to authentic flavors and consistent quality across locations.
For anyone craving genuine Trinidadian roti and Caribbean cuisine in the GTA, Aneal's is the gold standard. The consistency between locations is remarkable - a testament to their dedication to quality and authenticity.
Pro tip: Both locations maintain the same high standards, so you can't go wrong with either choice. Fair warning: their pepper sauce is SERIOUSLY HOT - approach with caution if you're...
