The food was good , main problem was the service . My main course was a rack of lamb, I asked for medium rare, to which I received a mid to well done lamb and cold scallop potato. When I told the server he took the plate, without an apology to bring me a new one. I saw the chef and server talking while looking at me directly through the window which was uncomfortable. While all this was taking place we sat for 1 hour without being asked if we were ok or would like another drink. When eventually I received my main which was raw, my girlfriend was long finished her main course and I mentioned to the server about the poor service and I asked for the bill (which I still intended on paying as the food that we did eat until the rack of lamb had been lovely) to which the server returned, to the door of the patio and spoke to us from there, rather then our table side, he said the restaurant would take care of the bill. He came across quite antagonistic and made us feel like he wanted us to leave which, we did, just as the replacement rack of lamb had come because we felt quite uncomfortable. The replacement lamb wasn't really cooked but just thought it was better leave. This was just a shame as we were recommended here by a friend who is a regular. My girlfriend said the lamb shank was delicious but unfortunaty the service was the real downside to...

This is hands down my favourite restaurant on St.clair. Their brunch is the best kept secret in this neighborhood known for its amazing brunch spots. The eggs benny is easily the best brunch I’ve ever had. The beef cheek that it comes with is to die for.

I also had the pleasure of trying some of their pasta off their lunch menu today. It was absolutely terrific. The portions of all the dishes I’ve tried here are just perfect (not too large, just enough so that you’re comfortably full and not rolling yourself out of the restaurant in discomfort after eating a ginormous portion) and the prices are insanely reasonable considering how amazing everything tastes. It tastes more like casual fine dining at a fraction of the price. Everything I’ve ever tried here just tastes absolutely incredible. The environment is nice and cozy as well, great for anything from a date night to a casual brunch with friends!

Come and eat here before it gets super popular and you have to wait for a table for 45 min (I.e. Emma’s). This spot beats anything else on St.Clair when it comes to quality and taste. Just trust me, eat here, you can...

What an incredible experience. We were blown away at how great these dishes were. Excellent service and patio atmosphere, we felt very well taken care of and enjoyed the vibrancy of St. Claire, but also like we had a private lunch. The bread was very soft and warm, hummus was smooth and creamy, delicious starter! The eggplant parmesan appetizer was phenomenal, perfectly cooked, creamy tomato sauce drizzled over an eggplant that nearly melts in your mouth. The breadcrumb and minced garlic add a nice contrast of crunchy texture to the smoothness. The vegetarian mushroom omellete did not disappoint. Again, wowed by the flavors and perfectly combined mushrooms, grilled peppers, caramelized onions and savory sauce. Side salad was also a wonderful accompanied bit of fresh greens. Perfect portion sizes, both filling and satisfying. Again, extremely pleased and highly highly recommended! Will definitely come back to check out other entrĂŠes and desserts! You will not be...

We happened upon this gem while going to another restaurant in the neighbourhood. The other restaurant we planned to visit was unavailable for dining in, so we opted for this one. We don’t live in the area. It was a pleasant surprise after reading the reviews. I can see that this is an area with many Spanish/Latinos, and the restaurant had the South American flare. We ordered the mussels as appetizer. It came in a good portion and was fresh and delicious. I decided to get the whole sea bass as my main course as I missed having one since I was in Europe last year. It truly gave me the feeling of dining in Europe. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was classy and quaint. They have lots of regular customers who knew the owner by name which just shows that this place is popular in the neighbourhood. It’s just a lovely experience.

This is probably my new favorite restaurant in the city. Food was unbelievably delicious. We couldn’t stop yumming until the plates were empty. Service was excellent!! I’d give it more stars if I could. We got a little late for the brunch menu and they still made the greatest omelette for us. We also had their eggplant appetizer, which was a outstanding as well as the mushroom risotto that has the perfect amount of creaminess, earthy flavor and spices to delight your palate. You can tell the chef has complete control on what’s happening on each dish and nothing it’s randomly thrown in there. Just go, you’re not gonna regret it!
