I have been following Beach hill on Instagram for 3 years and finally found the time to order ahead and pick up a TON of food for a birthday celebration. Every single item of food I got was perfect, and I truly mean that. I got the Jurassic Park platter, extra brisket, and a beef rib and got zero complaints at the party. Everyone was praising how good this Texas BBQ was. Keep in mind as well, I've tried just about every other Texas BBQ place in Toronto at this point and Beach Hill might be the best. This specific location is their second location, which is considered a "Cut" location. They recieved food shipments every morning from the "kitchen" location further in Toronto, so they have a more limited supply but still the same great food, nothing is lacking at this second location. The service while picking up was immaculate. The fellow working the afternoon I went was so kind, he was allowing me to try each piece as he was slicing and putting my order together, and he was engaging and answering all my questions while doing so. And finally the price... it's pretty reasonable! For a half pound of brisket, it will run you 15 dollars. Compared to other Texas BBQ places in Toronto is on the cheaper side. I spent $230 on all the items and I fed 7 people the night of and still had lunch leftovers for the next day!

Expanding to the west end with standards this low makes no sense. This food makes one yearn for the return of BBQAnon. Sausage is solid. Easily the best meat of the bunch. All the rest of the meat tastes like old leftovers. There's no way it was freshly smoked last night. Chicken wings taste like they weren't smoked at all. Flabby skin. Light vinegary sauce is decent, but there is. no. smoke. Brisket is definitely smoked. Poorly smoked. It's acrid, like a smoker is being run by a kid who has no idea what they're doing and a palate that thinks creosote is desirable. You may have seen pictures online that make you think the brisket is sometimes dry. Do not make the mistake of asking staff to make sure it's not too lean. Staff will take advantage of the opportunity to dump so much fatty filler into your portion you'll be unable to eat half of it. Ribs are in fact riblets. Heavily seasoned. Dry. Old. Everything here is old.

This has to be the best bbq I've had. I've been to a few bbq places and Beach Hill tops it for me. The staff is super welcoming very passionate about bbq. If I worked there, I would probably be just as excited - the food is spectacular! I got the pitmaster cookout as takeaway and it was unbelievably good. I followed the reheat instructions and it was absolute perfection! Before I left, I had to sit down for lunch and have their austin sandwich, which raised the bar for what a brisket sandwich should be. I also tried their pork belly and burnt ends and they both LITERALLY MELT IN YOUR MOUTH. These are my ranked top 5 picks. 1. burnt ends 2. brisket 3. sausage 4. pork belly 5. ribs Even though the chicken didn't make this list, it was still very good and enjoyable to eat. Honourable mention: the beans have to be my favourite side. You can tell much care went into making them.

Beach Hill Smokehouse totally made our BBQ last Saturday! We were having a bit of a family reunion last Saturday, with family members coming from across Canada to celebrate a new addition to the family and reconnect after a long hiatus with Covid. We wanted it to be special, but also had a very busy work week and first week at camp for our son. I wasn’t exactly sure how much of everything to order, so I contacted them through their website and Darien contacted me back right away, set up a call and called me that evening. I explained that there would be 14 people and that I wanted everyone to be able to try (and maybe have seconds) of everything. He helped me navigate the order/weights of everything and we got the order put together. (I will add, he did this while on vacation in Florida. He wanted to make sure himself that I got proper customer service.)

We ordered the burnt ends, the brisket, the homemade sausage, the smoked ribs, the baked beans and the house made BBQ sauce. They have a bunch of amazing sides too, but I was already making Jalapeñ and cheddar cornbread, bacon & egg potato salad, Caesar salad and Mac & Cheese, so I was mostly looking for them to provide all of the meat. The next day, Rafiq called me on the nose, I paid over the phone and the order was packed perfectly & ready on time for pick-up.

The BBQ was a showstopper. Everyone was so excited when we did the big reveal. The meat was tender, smoky and the perfect temperature. People were torn over their favourite, it was all a hit. Even the baked beans (which - to be honest - aren’t usually my jam), were fantastic! Not too sweet, just the right amount of savoury.

Not only did everyone have seconds (or thirds), I had more than enough to send everyone home with a takeaway package with enough of everything for another meal. Darien also called me to do a follow up (while still on vacation) to make sure we were happy with everything. Rare to find such helpful and committed customer service. Can’t recommend Beach Hill...

I went here for my birthday - I have so many extreme food allergies, it's difficult for me to find places I can eat at. Pitmaster Darien and his staff went the extra mile to make sure my allergies were accommodated, going so far as to speak with me by phone to make a menu plan and make sure I could have something special for my birthday in advance.

It was a simple Brisket and potato, and I tell you, it was the best brisket I've ever had in my life - tender, juicy and so flavorful. One bite and I was having a religious experience.

I'd last had authentic Texas BBQ over a year ago, when the place I was going to far outside the city shut down - this was even better, and in the city. My friends and I were very impressed with the food and the service.

Thanks to Darien and his staff for being so accommodating - my friends and I will definitely be coming back, as I plan on being a repeat customer. If you're looking for real Texas BBQ in Toronto with excellent service, look no further. Beach Hill is the real deal, with the best brisket I've ever tasted. Go to any of their locations, you won't be...
