In addition to all the amenities and activities at High Park, there's also a playground with a splash pad near the Outdoor Pool. This area is great for children who need to burn off more energy, and it has all the necessary playground equipment, including the splash pad. Along with the splash pad, there are also some picnic tables and park benches for relaxation. Unfortunately, the playground equipment isn't suitable for children with disabilities, but if you're accompanied by family members, I think it's a good idea. Near the playground, there are drinking fountains and restrooms for families and children. It's definitely worth spending an afternoon with the kids, especially in the summer.

Excellent new playground (2021) with high quality swings, see-saw, multiple climbing structures, slides and round-a-bout as well as other fun activities for kids. Lots of bench seating for adults and in summer there is a fantastic splash-pad. We like the walk through High Park and come year-round!

Solid playground with activities for little toddlers all the way to big kids. The splash pads are currently closed. There’s a cafe nearby selling treats and fast meals. Ocan also pick up frozen treats for 5~7 bucks. You can get here by taking the trackless train and stop as stop 4.

Just a five minute walk from the High Park subway station, the new splashpad (finished in 2016) at High Park sits beside the older wading pool and playground.

The spashpad is terrific. There are several different splash pad features operated by two buttons. There is also a water jug refill station. Sadly no public toilets on site. Lots of trees and shrubs around if needs be.

The wading pool is old-school ho-hum.

The playground, though old, is ok. Filled with hot sand that gets in all the crevices. I wish it had the rubbery surface of modern playgrounds.

The entire area is far from the park road across a huge lawn with trees on the other side. So very safe. An bathroom-free outdoor restaurant is about 100 metres away for food and the obligatory ice cream. There isn't much shade and on busy weekend days you'll be competing with...

The splash pad was great and so was the wading pool. The washrooms are half a mile away from the pad/pool/playground complex so if you are alone with the kids you will have to haul all of your belongings to the washroom. The food is crazy expensive but there is a place to order food (burgers/fries/pop/water) and it's grossly expensive. Yes! I was prompted to tip the clerk at the kiosk for getting me a pop from the fridge, two steps away from the cash register. This should really be a 3.5 star review. If you need to settle somewhere, there are Muskoka chairs and umbrellas by the wading pool. ...
