Server marilou (sp?) asked me to leave my table just after I paid my bill this past weekend...I had a waffles for 24 dollars and I tipped her.. then she told me there was a line up so I had to vacate the table. I HADN'T FINISHED MY COFFEE YET AND I WAS THERE WELL UNDER 30 MINUTES ONLY. Absolutely disgusting. I told her that was extremely rude and she doubled down with no apparent remorse. I would also like to know why she hadn't approached the 2 gentlemen that were sitting at the table next to me who were already there almost finished their meal before I even ordered? Their plates were finished and to the side as I got my own food and she still never asked them to leave but she decided to come to me why did I seem like an easier target because I was a solo female diner? I wasn't sitting there doing nothing I wasn't even finished my coffee that I ordered and paid for. Please review the cameras and tell me how that's fair and i'd like to know why she decided to come after me instead of anybody else around me when I came in after them? I told the manager and this rude server came outside to the patio to insert herself into our private conversation about what occurred. I presume she was being nosey and/or maybe thought her presence would intimidate me? Don't know. I provided my feedback to the manager and she sincerly apologized...she was great. My first and last time going here. My family has owned and ran restaurants for over 20 years and we would never fathom or allow this behavior from any staff member...
Read moreCame there with a friend, ordered a Greek salad with chicken. When arrived the Greek salad which consisted of lettuce, cucumber, carrots and cabbage. It also had the olives, the cheap kind that you buy in cans, thinly sliced and without a taste. Umh? Besides that fact that I hate carrots and cabbage is my winter food only, eating in 37C something so detestable was extremely pleasurable experience.
The waitress said that she didn't point out the 'restaurant Greek salad recipe as the picture showed the carrots. Never looked at the picture. BTW Greek salad does not have lettuce and this is restaurant invention to make profit. Then this 'Sunset grill Greek salad' was replaced with Caesar salad. What could go wrong here? OMG, the cheap dressing. They didn't make it themselves and seemingly used some disguising version.Croutons were stale. The grilled chicken was really good and so was a service but at the most this is 2 stars.
I feel that the owners should take a good look to their practices and realize that we do not go to the restaurants to get our meals assembled. We go there to get freshly prepared meal with good ingredients. And please, please call that gross salad...

The eating area is quite spacious and it's easy enough to get a seat. The staff were both kind and efficient with getting me a spot to sit down at.
I had the Skillet Breakfast with a cup of coffee and both were excellent. Coffee was nice and simple.
The skillet itself was the star of the show. Hollandaise sauce is left on the side which was a big plus for me. Being able to eat without being overloaded with that particular sauce was honestly fantastic.
Had my egg sunny side up which affords you the ability to add some nice yolk to your meal as you eat it.
The underlying components consisted of well-seasoned home fries, mushrooms, bacon, pepper, and cheese. My initial worry was that the bacon would make this extremely greasy, but it turned out to not be an issue and the entire meal went down smoothly.
If you're in the area and looking for a nice pickup, definitely recommending Sunshine...
