Don't trust the people at this business. They lied to my face.

I looked on Google Maps for an Indian restaurant near Yonge & Sheppard, and after finding this place I placed an order on their web site for the "Yonge" location. When I arrived at the Yonge & Sheppard address, they told me that the order went to the wrong location. Their location was new so it wasn't on the web site yet, and apparently they had another location on Yonge. He wanted me to drive 20 minutes to the other location to get the food, but instead I offered to place an order on a delivery service (at a higher cost to me) so it could be brought over and the food wouldn't go to waste, He was happy and agreed. The delivery service order went by default to the Yonge & Sheppard location though and it wouldn't let me choose the other location. He said OK just go ahead an order it anyway and they'd just make it again.

Since the situation wasn't my fault, the person from the store called me the next day and offered to make the same order for free as a way of saying sorry. I accepted, and called some time later to take him up on the offer. He said that they were closed in the afternoon (I never heard of a restaurant doing that), and to call later to place the order. I needed the food then so I said never mind.

Some time later I called again to take him up on the offer, and the person didn't know what I was talking about. He took my details and said he'd give them to his manager to get back to me about it. I never heard back.

I then decided to just go to the location and ask about it, and the guy there didn't know what I was talking about and even insisted that the location opened after I had placed my initial order (apparently I'm a time traveller or something). He said to write them an email about it, and said I could get the email address from their web site. I went to the web site soon after and there was no email address to be found there. Neither on the mobile or desktop version. I also tried sending them a message on Facebook, but their page does not accept messages.

At this point I'm done dealing with these people. It's not so much about wanting to get free food (which was OK by the way), but the principle of offering me something and then going back on it. I will never go here again and deal with the dishonesty I encountered, and recommend others...

I’m a regular at the Bloor and Bathurst one, this was my first time trying the one in Yonge. I really love their biriyani that comes with raita. It’s really good. But this location has it messed up! I don’t know if it’s because that’s how they make it or what but they gave me rice with some chicken curry at the bottom. The biriyani was dry rice on top with some chicken curry at the bottom. Which looked more like a curry chicken combo then a biriyani to me. The taste wasn’t the same either.. I thought it was a mistake or wrong order but then I checked they don’t have anything like what I got on the menu. The raita was watery too. Was the worker just not feeling like mixing it together and making it a biriyani? I’ll never know. But totally disappointed for the first time. The place to service customers and take payments is very tiny too. If you just go there for the first time it’s hard to figure what what’s going on.. I didn’t notice the bell in the corner at first so I stood there a good 5mins until I figured out what to do to get there attention from that...

I had Paneer Tikka Roti and Gulab Jamun. It was the most terrible thing I ever ate. I asked my food to be spicy but it was extremely spicy with overload of garam masala. Felt like throwing away the food but had to gulp down this terrible food. The gulab jamun tasted bad and again has excessive flavour of elaichi. Mistake of my life to spend $20 at this place. Never again.

Edit 1: I already mentioned above that I asked for spicy food but that does not mean that you will load the gravy with garam masala and call it spicy. Feel free to share the footage. People will only throw up after eating that much masala. You should have acknowledged the fact that food wasn't up to the mark but you're on a defensive mode. Kudos to your...

Great new location in North York that provides better Indian flavours than most of the locations present in this area. I asked the server that I wanted something spicy, with vegetables and chicken. He suggested the Chicken jalfrezi and said he can make anything spicy. He made it fresh and asked for feedback as well. Overall it was great but the roti was slightly raw and the potatoes were not well cooked. The server asked for feedback as well and was humble to receive the feedback. I am happy this place is so near my office. I will be going again for sure.

This is simply unacceptable and dangerous. Our food had mold, and it was not hard to find it. When working with food, safety is extremely important that was neglected in this experience. First our order was messed up and we had gotten rotis without being made a roti, but thankfully as we found mold as roti was packed separately. I would strongly recommending not taking any shortcuts for food safety, and taking the L if the food is old, rather than having your customers eat the old food and hoping for best. This shouldn’t happen, beyond frustrating.
