We were super hungry and looking for vegetarian options and stumped upon this place.
We were very happy to find a Thai place with Vegan options.
The location is on the Young Street which is super busy so please account for traffic. Also not super impressed with the available parking spots. There were very less parking spots available in the plaza which were so small that it was almost impossible to park. So, we recommend walking. They are missing handicapped parking as well as entrance so please be advised before you decide to Dine-in.
The ambiance was pretty good. As you can see in the picture, they have tried to create a Canadian-Thai atmosphere. However, it was pretty warm there, I believe the wall fans were the only thing for air circulation.
The seating space is limited so please call before you want to drop-in for Dine-in. They have ensure COVID seating so no group is close to another.
The food is really awesome!
They can convert many of the menu options to Vegan which is pretty awesome!!!
We had 4 items - Red Curry - Vegan Pad Thai - Vegan Khao Soi - Chicken Spaghetti Curry - Chicken
The quantity of all the items were sufficient for 1 person. The quality of the chicken items were better than the Vegan. However, this was expected since the Vegan cannot have the traditional Thai ingredients which bring in a lot of different flavors. The serving time was really less, we received 3 out of 4 items within almost 2 mins of our order. The Spaghetti Curry took almost 5-6 mins.
We really liked the Vegan items the taste was awesome! The chicken items were the best though, we would highly recommend Spaghetti Curry!!! However, the tofu was a bit hard.
All in all, great experience, the person serving us was amazing as well. She was very patient and calmly took our order while were trying to decide what to order and which Vegan dishes we can order.
The prices are definitely ok not too high. They allow you to pay cash and get 15% discount on the tax included price. So, would highly recommend to keep cash when you go here.
They lost 2 stars on the parking and missing AC. If you are looking for a take-out, this place would definitely get a 5 star, coz the variety of options and the...
Read moreI would give this restaurant 10 stars for the food if I could. I have been ordering from here for years now and it is simply one of the best Thai restaurants in Toronto in my opinion. But I think the restaurant should train their staff better on how to deal with customers. I usually order via Ubereats and every time I ordered in the past, Ubereats would allow me to enter a special request in the order screen which is not to put peanuts in the food as my son has a deadly allergy to peanuts. But the last two times I ordered, I noticed that the comments section was not available which I understand is a problem with the app. So I had to call the restaurant to request them not to add peanuts. The first time I called, the lady picking up the phone accommodated my request and I was grateful for that. The second time I had the same issue with the app, I called the restaurant and wow the same lady picking up the phone seemed quite annoyed. She first asked me to enter the request in the app, and when I explained to her that something is wrong with the app as the comments section is not showing, she said if another customer could do it, I should be able to do it too. She also said she remembers me from last time, and it busy time for them. She seemed quite annoyed overall. I was shocked at this attitude. I couldn’t imagine a restaurant not having the time to accommodate a special request from a ‘customer’. This is not the way a customer should be treated. I was quite hurt as I have always raved about this restaurant to others and have sent many of my friends over there over the years. I just wanted to share my experience here as the restaurant should know that it’s not in their best interest to lose a loyal customer. Even though I love their food, but I won’t be ordering...

This is one of their 3 locations (so far) to satisfy your Thai food cravings. For someone who has been to Bangkok, Thailand I came here with high expectations. I have been to their other Yonge St. Location and I was definitely amazed by the flavours and interior design. This location has the same great service but the food did not wow me.
The morning glory was cold (perhaps it's supposed to be) but it was nothing like what I had in Bangkok. I feel that the pickled radish's sour was too overpowering. Also the fried morning glory almost felt tasteless. Overall it's a appetite opener with the sourness but was not my thing.
Under the Night Market section I chose the Basil Braised Beef Kai Dao which was Braised beef stir-fried Chinese style with peppers and onions with a side of white rice and fried egg. To be honest maybe I missed that dish in Bangkok but I've never seen it at the night markets. Regardless, it felt like a Chinese dish to me more than Thai. The flavours are good I just expected something else. What surprised me the most is that this dish was cold. Maybe they were busy but even your white rice is cold?
The warmest thing I had was the Chicken Pad Thai which was just warm and was okay. Overall food wise and the presentation is there but the temperature and flavours just aren't. Their menu is a bit different from the other location but I didn't expect such a different experience. I'd come back again but I'd much prefer the other location.
Customer service wise, wonderful as always. Although the two servers were super busy dealing with all the food deliveries (eg. Uber Eats, Skip the Dishes, Ritual, etc) they were still polite, friendly and always had a smile on...
