Really not good food or service. I get there at lunch, the place is open. I ask what is available today, and I order from what was offered. The young man behind the counter takes my money, and goes into the back. After a few minutes of waiting, I hear him calling someone and saying that a customer is waiting for food. Another few minutes pass, and a lady hurries in, carrying pots of food. I can see them now taking some food from those pots that were just delivered, and microwaving it. Okay... lol. Let's now talk about the food that was served. I ordered an Iranian classic: Ghormeh Sabzi. With the first bite, it was clear something was off. Anyone that knows anything about this dish knows that you have to use dried limes (limoo ammani) in this recipe to get that tangy taste. There was none in this dish, and so it tasted off. Toranj Restaurant, located in Centrepoint, serves delicious Persian food daily. Their Koobideh kebabs are truly exquisite and flavorful; every time we order them, we thoroughly enjoy them. Mr. Omidzadeh, the restaurant manager, is a very kind, good-natured, and humanitarian person. One time, before we even ordered and as we were entering the plaza parking lot at the mall, my wife fell and was in a very bad state. As soon as he realized what happened, driven by his great humanity, he kindly took us to the hospital, even though it wasn't his duty. He saw that my wife's condition was critical due to her fall and the cuts on her hands and face. Not only the food is amazingly delicious and of the highest quality and the portions are huge, but also we had the most outstanding customer service experience: We ordered online for pick-up but when we got there they told us the website was having technical issues and they hadn’t received the order. Immediately they asked us to take a seat while they took our order and said they’d prepare it quickly. Then they brought us some freshly brewed aromatic Persian tea and a Kit-Kat each!
