I had a very interesting experience yesterday at this location. I have loved booster juice for years and have even worked at multiple locations. I’ve been to this booster juice numerous times and the staff have always been lovely and the environment clean and inviting. On March 17th around 12:20pm, I went in to receive my free birthday booster juice smoothie. When I came in, a middle aged lady was working by herself came by and asked what I would like. As I was looking at the food cabinet I had said hi back and said it was my birthday, her first response, instead of greeting and saying happy birthday she had asked me if I had the birthday coupon. To which I responded yes I did. I read that you could only get a classic smoothie, but I was wondering if there were minor notifications that could be made, swapping a fruit for another fruit or a sorbet for a frozen yogurt (not both, but one or the other). To which she was very stern and quite rude explaining she would need to charge me for that unless it was an allergy. I had asked her when has that been the case, cause I had worked at a booster juice for a few years and she had remarked, well things change. Taken aback, I needed a few more minutes to look at my options. I had seen another customer behind me and told her she could go ahead. She had explained to the lady that she needed something that was low in sugar. She had thought of one option but I had interjected with explaining that anything from the “BUNN” machine would not be naturally pressed juices if that was what she was looking for. The lady working had interrupted and explained that she was not looking at any smoothies that had that. The customer had then ordered an “açai avalanche,” which knowing booster juice for years, they do not have açai berries that they use but concentrate mixed with water. I explained to the customer again that, that might not be a good choice, and the customer had stated that she needs a low sugar diet because it’ll make her nauseous throughout the day if not. I further helped her figure out a smoothie that would be lower in sugar with a few modifications, and the lady had made it for her. The lady working at that time did not take the customers dietary restrictions into account and was rude when I was trying to help. I ended up ordering a very berry with no modifications and it tasted great. I was extremely disappointed with my birthday interaction and very frustrated when leaving. Unfortunately this is the only booster juice that is close to me, but if it wasn’t I would tell people not to go during the day to make sure they avoid that lady. I recently visited the Booster Juice in Etobicoke and would rate my experience a solid four stars. Overall, it’s a convenient spot for grabbing a quick smoothie or snack, and it offers the healthy options Booster Juice is known for. However, there are a few aspects that prevent it from being a five-star experience.
The smoothies themselves are good, but the quality can be inconsistent. Sometimes, the drinks are perfectly blended and refreshing, but other times, they seem rushed, with an uneven texture or slightly off flavor. While the menu has a wide variety of options, which is a huge plus, the attention to detail in preparation could use improvement.
As for the store itself, the cleanliness and atmosphere leave something to be desired. It’s not exactly dirty, but it doesn’t feel as spotless or inviting as you’d expect from a place focused on health and wellness. Tables and countertops could be cleaned more frequently, and the overall ambiance could use a refresh to make it feel more vibrant and welcoming.
That said, the staff are generally friendly and quick to take your order, which makes the experience pleasant despite the other shortcomings. The location is convenient, and it’s a great option for a quick, nutritious boost on the go.
If they could improve the consistency of the smoothies and pay more attention to keeping the store clean and inviting, this location would easily earn five stars from me. For now, it’s a good spot that does the job, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

To the Company: As someone who works in sales, has multiple locations of a business, and KNOWS the value of someone like Miss Ebony- YOU IMMEDIATELY GIVE THIS QUEEN A RAISE. HAVE HER TRAIN YOUR STOCKYARDS LOCATION. HAVE HER TRAIN EVERYONE.
I have half a mind to hire her myself because if my clients got the honour of being welcomed by her at MY business, I know their expectations would continue to be exceeded in every aspect of their visit.
