My bad for not dropping in sooner.

I’ve never been to a Cobs before today. Have often peered in, but never gone in to the one that’s just around the corner from me. Then I had the opportunity to sample a couple breads at a friends place, and that’s all it took.

What a great selection and oooh sooo fresh. It’s a real danger zone for me since bread and butter tops my list of favourite things to eat. Be careful, if you’re trying to manage your weight, this may not be the place for you. But if bread is your jam, and you haven’t visited, you absolutely must.

I plan to (slowly) work my way through all the choices, then pick my favourites. Only one bread missing from their large assortment - a rye bread with caraway. And they don’t seem to have a dark rye either. But tons of other choices. Go crazy!

Seems like this cobbs location lacks proper leadership from the top. Owner seems like a real douche whenever he is in store if ever. The vibe is nothing like Royal york etc. from my experiences there are a few employees that were very helpful, friendly and made my experience here wonderful when they were on shift. The female bakery manager was great along with an older carribean gentleman that seemed like the baker are the only reason I will come back. Very friendly and knowledgeable about what my needs were without trying to upsell me. They need more employees like them which should be considered assets to make the Cobbs experience a great one. I would suggest the Royal York/ Liberty Village locations for better service/quality over the...

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. When I walked in, I was not acknowledged, even though I noticed every other customer being greeted. The service I received was poor — when my items were placed in a box, I was told to move them around myself so the icing wouldn’t smear, and I was even left to close the box on my own.

The staff member’s name tag said Lucy. Based on how differently I was treated compared to others, I felt I was not treated fairly, possibly because I am a person of colour. This was hurtful and unacceptable.

I will not be returning to this location, and I will not recommend it to any of my family or friends in the area due to the poor and unfair customer service I...

Truly amazing customer service! I had quite the mix up ordering through Uber Eats, when I ordered an item that wasn't ready yet. I had to fight with Uber Eats to get a refund, but with Cobs, specifically Jasmine, I got patience and understanding when I called several times for help sorting out the issue. Special shoutout to Jasmine who went above and beyond and put aside my order then called to make sure I got my cinnamon loaf. I was so surprised when they sent apology scones because they were so excellent and the issue was likely caused by Uber Eats. Lastly, the cinnamon loaf is so so good!
