It wasn’t a nice experience to be treated differently than other customers because of difference in ethnicity. It was clear due to the fact that the staff at the front were having a fun time giggling and talking with other guests. They were speaking in a language other than English (that’s not the problem) ignored me when I was standing right in front of them. One of the staff even made eye contact with me and still didn’t check in with me. I had to interrupt the staff and customers in order to get any sort of acknowledgment.
I had received notification on ubereats that my order was completed and had to intervene in order for them to even begin putting my order together for packing. Waited nearly 15 min.
They packed the order as though it was trash. The burritos at the bottom with cold drinks tossed in on top of the food and right next to the fries ordered. Which is in a package which is not ideal for take out orders.
I finally left the establishment and went to eat my fries as I drove off only to find my fries cold, considering they were right up against the drinks and the order took forever it’s no wonder the fries were cold.
Luckily I hadn’t drove off, I went back in to get my new fries. They were quick with replacing the fries at least. In the meantime I began eating one of my dishes. Which again was packed poorly, on top of that the quesadilla was cut terribly. One piece was nearly the whole quesadilla where the other pieces were small and difficult to eat because of this.
The fry cook then came over with my fresh hot fries and handed them to me in the tiny bag which is not ideal for the fries at all and not even in any sort of manner to make it easy for me to take them from his hands. There are small bags for the burritos that could have been used to hand me the fries in a way that was easy to take with me and not just throw in my take out bag.
When I got home to enjoy my churros one with chocolate “sauce” the other with caramel. The caramel was lovely. The chocolate was clumpy, almost looked curdled and dry. Not a sauce at all. I did not use it because it looked so gross, and had to use the tiny amount of caramel for 12 churros. I like a lot of sauce and well I couldn’t enjoy them as I like.
I regret not taking any pictures as it was late and I was feeling annoyed at how long everything took. I just wanted to eat my food.
I went out of the way from my route home to get burrito Boyz and I am highly disappointed at this experience that I don’t want to ever go to...
Read moreMy dad and I were working at a new home job site. We ordered delivery straight from the website and paid online. My dad got halibut burrito, and I got a soy/shrimp burrito. It took almost an hour to deliver, we were 550m from the location itself. The food came, and the driver did not read instructions that we were in the rear garage area, and was just asking random people onthe street where the house number is, which was also posted on the home itself. We got our food, our drinks were missing. I called in and was told they cannot deliver our drinks, but can give us a combo upgrade on file for next time. It's really basically already paying for drinks and not getting them, then being offered a free combo upgrade, in which it's not free. I ended up driving for the drinks, staff was polite, gave me my drinks and offered free chips, I accepted, and left. I was eating with my dad and he got half way through his small burrito until he found the halibut, which was more batter than fish. Both of our white wraps were moist instead of crispy outsides. My burrito was soy/shrimp. I ate 3/4 of my burrito only to find 4 shrimp at the very end. My soy was sloppy and the stingy shrimp werent even seasoned. We spent a good $40. My dad and I seperately live off lakeshore, and our favorite spots for years are the Lakeshore locations. He called me last night with stomache pains/sweats/run belly. I at some point afterwards experienced the same thing. This location should be further inspected for possible food contamination/bacteria. We couldnt work our trade today because of being weak on the toilet throughout the evening/night. Worst experience and food from this Burrito...
Read morePretty standard service apart from the issue I had today. Long story short: it took me 30 minutes to get a burrito due to employees being distracted.
Order was placed at 1:02 for a small steak burrito on whole wheat. Someone who I would assume is a manager/owner of the location finished his phone call in the dining room and proceeded to go back behind the service counter and spoke to all the people employees until a group of three people came in ten minutes after I had placed my order. He welcomed them and basically held their hands as they tried to order their food. By 1:22, I went up to the person who originally took my order and was prepping burritos on the counter. She apologized for the wait; turns out my burrito was just sitting on a shelf away from heat waiting to be passed over to me. I finally left after 20 minutes and realized that my burrito was now cold and we all know how quickly a burrito can get soggy. I went back and requested for my burrito to be remade. They were apologetic and remade my food; I got out by 1:32. No recovery was offered apart from accepting my request to remake my food. Typically, a person who works in fast food would be aware of their tasks and would have a sense of urgency. With my experience, it seemed like whoever that was talking to all the employees at the same time was a distraction. The group of three who came after me got their food before me. Pretty turned off from coming back to any burrito boys which is a shame as I have never experienced this in any...
