Food was amazing as always. I order from here at least once a week. this is my favourite place to order from when using the skipthedishes app, I think it could possibly be the fastest place to order from if you live in and around the area and are using skipthedishes, as there always seems to be a skip driver either in their parking lot or very close by and I usually receive my burrito within 20 to 25 minutes of ordering. This location is about an 8 to 10 minute drive away. Today amazingly I placed my order and received my burrito at my door in under 10 minutes from the time I placed my order. So in closing if you're ever feeling like having some really tasty and delicious burritos or quesadillas or any other stuff they sell at a really good price whether you're ordering through skipthedishes or going in person to pick it up yourself I highly recommend this place as I've always received exactly what I ordered, the portions sizes are great, the food prices are very affordable and the service is exceptional and fast. I give this place a 10 out of 10. It is my absolute favourite burrito place in all of Scarborough quite possibly all of Toronto and the GTA. Please Burrito Boy's don't ever change you food is amazing and your staff is excellent. Thanks again for the delicious food I will definitely be ordering...
Read moreUPDATE: It was further observed that one of the delivered items (nachos) had mold in it. I can't seem to be able to attach a picture but it was provided to DoorDash and Burrito Boyz corporate. Also, DoorDash was a pain to get a refund for this garbage, despite photographic evidence, so if you are ordering, better avoid them.
Rude, unprofessional and condescending staff (particularly the manager). Would give it zero stars if I could for the sheer lack of professionalism and customer service. Just received my order from DoorDash and it had a problem. Now I could have simply raised a complaint with DoorDash and received a refund but I chose the moral high ground and because it was Christmas, I called this place. A rather rude and condescending guy named Noor, who identified himself as the manager, took the phone and basically told me that's how the dish is and he can't fix that. Despite explaining that I am very regular at Burrito Boyz (other franchises in GTA) and even offering photographic proof , he was unable to even listen and made it clear that according to him, all was well with my order.
To the manager, if you read this, I will be sending the photo of the perfect nachos that came out your kitchen to corporate and maybe we will let them decide whether that's how they would like to see...
Read moreI had a friend come recently to get one of the free burritos that are offered to people in need, but he was confronted with questions and stating that it was only for people in need. Based on an article online they were offering any burrito on the menu but was TOLD its only a small veggie burrito. He was ok getting anything, but you should write that you are offering a small veggie instead. The biggest issue is the fact that once the burrito was ready it was yelled across the room asking if you are the one getting the free burrito in front of a busy store.
This is leaving me to feel like a marketing ploy for free PR for the store!
The whole experience left him feeling upset and I couldn't blame him as most people would feel somewhat ashamed about asking for help. I'm happy that you are trying to help those in need but questioning people and making them feel like they have to justify the need should not be a priority especially if they are advertising no questions asked. Not everyone will be dressed homeless and there are probably many people currently out of work due to the pandemic.
I truly hope they work with the staff to deal with this more sensitively in the future so those that truly do need the help won't feel stigmatized in front of a busy store and make them feel like they are...
