Today was my first time going to this place. I picked up 2 different meals but tried 3 different types of protein. Their BBQ Chicken, Jerk Chicken and Curry Chicken. All 3 were tasty and made really well. The curry chicken was my favourite ..surprisingly!!! The staff was SUPER NICE, especially MARK. He was AWESOME!!!!!!!!! So friendly, so quick and answered all of my questions perfectly. He made the experience wonderful!!!! Their meals come with a whole bunch of things: A very generous portion of rice (either saffron OR rice & peas... and by peas, they mean kidney beans) and then you get a kind of coleslaw cabbage type salad, corn, diced tomato and a scoop of chick pea stuff but I forgot what he called it. Everything was super tasty and you have a choice of adding 3 different sauces. 1 is a mayo type creamy pink coloured sauce, BBQ sauce and a scotch bonnet green hot sauce. The jerk chicken and curry chicken definitely had a little kick, especially if you're not used to hot food, you will feel it but it's not overbearing and overpowering. In fact, I'd say this food is very flavourful and tasty! Prices are reasonable and decent, especially for the amount of food you're getting!! The place was exceptionally clean and they DO ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS and debit cards there so that's a major bonus!!!! They had seats but I guess it's encouraged to grab and go. The place is long but narrow so if you're there when it's busy, I see that it would be stuffy but when I went, there were only a few people and the line up took minutes! They have multiple people working there and they are very efficient and quick!!! They include individually wrapped cutlery, straws and napkins too. Restrooms are out of order because they are renovating them. Parking is on the side of the building and there's many spots but they do fill up quick because of how many restaurants and stores are in that area. Luckily PARKING IS FREE, if you can find a spot. I definitely recommend this place, for a quick sandwich or fast food craving for Jamaican classics. Looking forward to trying their fish and shrimp...

It seems like an 'Asian-Mexican fusion' restaurant. They disrespect the "Roti" by adding Mexican and east Indian ingredients to the menu. I have never seen Jerk chicken that looks the way it does. The seasoning is thick and only takes care of the first layer of the meat leaving the rest of the chicken to have an almost 'raw' taste to it. The Oxtail has Zero flavor. Why...why?? Do you understand why you should not mess with Oxtail if you are not able to satisfy an Oxtail palate ??? Take it off your menu and let someone else do it right ! All these 4 and 5 star ratings are from people who enjoy a quickly made meal that looks better than it actually tastes. The establishment doesn't even smell like a Caribbean place... if you were to walk in blind folded you could not guess the menu. The ratings...Definitely not real West Indian food connoisseur that have rated this place. I understand to a certain extent Open up a restaurant...get a following then spend your earnings doing who knows what but in the meantime your food and restaurant declines...or did ya sell your joint to you know who for a profit ??? I WILL NEVER GO BACK NOR WILL I EVER RECCOMEND YOUR PLACE TO ANYONE. I wouldn't even feed my dog this food. I hope my $35 donation...
Came here for halal Carribean food!
Ordered - jerk chicken bowl. Jerk chicken sandwich and Cajun fish sandwich.
Planned on doing takeout and tried ordering over the phone - if it’s ur first time going this does not work well. Called three times to make an order - and it was sooo loud in the background I could not hear a word she was saying! So decided to go inside and order instead.
Jerk chicken bowl has a variety of side options. Overall got a little bit of everything. The rice was pretty good! The jerk chicken and sides were just okay. Ordered the lemon sauce for the bowl. Omg! This was was so deathly spicy barely could eat it.
The sandwiches were both good. Cajun fish was probably the best.
Now the service - this was pretty horrible. The girl that was doing my order seemed soooo annoyed to be there and even more annoyed that we were making a lengthy order. Not sure why her attitude was so negative. Sure we had to ask her the options for the bowl as it was our first time there. Kinda like ordering a sub for the first time. As it was pretty loud inside so had to ask her to repeat herself. Obviously this annoyed her even more. All the sighs and the eye rolls. Just made it seem like such a burden.
Overall the place was pretty clean. Service could have been better and if adequate advice was given maybe the meal could have been...
