Ever since we found out about the Street Eats Market at Hillcrest Mall, we have tried every single food truck during this very boring lockdown.
And this food truck is by far the best! We literally ordered their fish and chip, along with the lobster roll for many weekends back-to-back. It's just that good. I remember their store inside St. Lawrence Market was really good, and this truck is no different.
The halibut is really crispy, moist, and not oily. The lobster roll is delicious. And the golden fries is like McDonald fries but 100x better. The pickle is also perfectly sour.
For the reviews saying it's not worth it for the price, you have to remember that these guys are selling SEAFOOD. Which is not cheap to begin with. Expect to pay a premium of $17-18 per meal. If price and portions matter to you, go find another truck. For me, its worth the premium if the food is delicious.
