I don’t usually write reviews but….this time I will!!!
June 1st at around 8:30 pm right before 9:00 pm. My family and I went in for Bubble tea, everything was great, the lady taking our order was good and polite (asian woman)
It was the Asian lady, 5 ft tall, making the drinks (not being racist just describing her description) was super duper rude, her attitude was definitely unacceptable and unprofessional.
Backstory; Initially when I was ordering I wanted a milk-tea pudding, regular sugar, NO ICE. I get it, It was how I Originally wanted but I saw that she haven't made or pour my drink in the cup yet so I asked politely if she could just add a tiny bit of ice instead of no ice. She looked at me with the most rude, nonchalant, irritated face ever…although she did not respond to my requests but her actions say otherwise. She look irritated and looked like she did not want to even work. It doesn’t take 2 seconds to add ice into my drink (speaking from experience, I used to be a barista for 6 years) Very poor customer service, and the worst part is, they ask for Tips while paying ..even before we received our drink…..whats the tip for?! If the customer service is BAD!!!
I felt like I was such a bother putting in a last minute request. She should definitely not work there if she isn’t happy. We have our bad days but it’s definitely not an excuse to be rude to customers. She’s very lucky I was in a good mood because I definitely would’ve said something…SHE...
Read moreBrand new coco opened near York university. The place has ample of seating perfect for the casual or serious students needing that extra boost of sugar tea for their next exam. They have a wide selection of drinks from the regular bbt with pearl to wintermelon. It is very spacious and tons of space to read, chat, and hang out with your friends. They also have a study section with lamps for late night studying. Bring your friends to study. The walls are filled with good decorations with toronto. The bad thing is the music is too loud to study. They should lower the sound. I can’t hear talking to my friends.
The store is located close to york university so I guess there will be a lot of york ppl coming here. It is very unique location away from the normal bbt places. Niche location. But will it succeed? Who knows. There is a stream of customers when I was there. What cpuld be better? Well, for one,. Play nicer music and relaxing songs. I don’t know why the guys working there turned the sound up. Lower it and play some relaxing music. It’s pretty clean so far.
They also have hand washing sinks at the back so you don’t have to use the toilet if u don’t need to. They have two hand sinks for wash your hands if u...
Read moreThe worst customer service experience and I've come here three times and received the same poor serious and will not return again. Due to covid-19, the store is dead, there's barely any customers. The university students aren't in class and the parking lot itself is fairly empty. I came in today and the workers were starring at me waiting for me to order. I apologize for taking long, which why would a customer have to apologize if there's no one in line and they're reading the menu? Due to rude workers staring at you until you order. I also had a long order (5 drinks) so obviously I need time to think about what I was ordering. After asking a few questions and getting attitude in the answers, I realized I ordered one of the drinks incorrectly. I was able to stop them before the drink was made. All 4-5 of the female workers with the glasses, especially the tall one, black hair with glasses, stared at each other and seemed upset that a customer made a mistake, they also conveniently start speaking in their own language while ignoring me. I asked would that be an issue as clearly it was. And if it was an issue I wouldn't mind leaving the drink the way it was. Not worth giving a dollar to this...
