I wish I could give a better review. However, I was extremely disappointed and couldn’t help myself than giving a poor rating. I went to this place after hearing a lot of good things specially the food quality. But to my utter disappointment it seems they are not serving fresh foods. I had ordered their Signature dish Kacchi biriyani and the taste was not good. We experienced stomach bug very next day. While eating we could feel that something was wrong due to a bad odour usually you get from rotten foods. No complaints with quantity served but I felt that they wanted to get rid of the food quickly. Overall I think they need to improve significantly on overall hygiene level. I love to support our community but they also need to realize how to treat customers properly in this competitive market. I will strongly request customers to think twice before ordering...

The owners have changed several times in the past with several locations. Apparently they're under new management since last week. But the chef has never changed. This chef is known for being notorious in maintaining food quality with proper hygiene. I'm not sure how this restaurant continues to be in business. Chef was seen jumping over cooking pots of cooked food left on the kitchen floor. And often not using fresh oil and ingredients to cook the food. You can taste the wrong flavours in their meals. Last night, we ordered Chicken Roast for takeout and we get home to find out this. Chicken was literally brought out of a fridge and thrown in the box. Chicken is stale, hard meat and has absolutely no flavour. There is barely any gravy. And the onions are semi-raw!!!

See the picture and judge for yourself! And to the new management, change...

I drove all the way from Mississauga to this restaurant because of the excellent recommendations I received. Unfortunately they ran out of the Tehari I went for and I ended up bringing home their Beef Biriyani. The quality, freshness and taste were excellent. Furthermore their behaviour and service were also excellent. The lady who owns the restaurant was very kind; I was slightly delayed in getting my order (because they cooked it fresh) and because of that she offered me a discount. When I said I was not inconvenienced at all and that there was no need for a discount, she insisted on giving me an order of what was one of the best keema curry we have ever had. This place is excellent! I will definitely make the 30 min drive often to...

I was suggested to give Dhaka Biryani House by a fellow mate of mine. So there I went, 45 kilometres from home to a quiet side street near Danforth Village, where I'd usually go for the Bangladeshi delicacies. The store's owned by a mother and son, and they are extremely friendly. There's a gentle hint of being at home inside the store. The food over here are more than just delicious, they are addictive. I'd personally suggest trying out their Kacchi Biryani and Luchi Chaap, best I've had in my time here in Ontario.

I got their iftaar box which included chicken biryani amongst many other delicious items including a dessert. The blend of flavors were amazing in the biryani and the serving size was large. I highly recommend this place! Forgot to take pics of the actual food, will post more next time :)
