Are you interested in *the* BEST Goat Curry Roti you've *ever* had? Well you're in luck my friend! Cus located in a *super* questionable run down plaza, is one of *the* greatest hole in a wall Roti Restraunts you'll *ever* experience! (Just bring pepper spray and a loud whistle!) 'Roti Lady', as the name suggests, houses *one* elderly woman as its *only* employee! There for emotional support is her trustee grandson; chilling out behind the counter, playing mobile games while slouched on what can only be described as one incredibly well loved couch! The esthetic? An old gas station's storage area! The customer service? Purely transactional! Looking for some customer / proprietor banter? Don't even think about it! Roti Lady's just here to take your order and make your food! If it's any consolation, while you decide what you want to order, she'll slowly chew on an appetizer of her own, and stare off into the distance! In all seriousness though, 100% recommend! Their food is filling, and you *really* get a sense that it doesn't get any more authentic than this! Their lack of want to impress you shows just how much they believe in their product--and really--they're not wrong! 5 out of 5 ⭐s!

Hidden gem, hole in the wall, whatever you wanna call it, they meant it when they said this is the best bang for your buck in Scarborough‼️ This is the most authentic restaurant ever. I felt like I was in their living room with her grandson chilling on the couch in the middle of the store — definitely more of a take-out spot. But that’s how you know the food is banging and it was. The jerk chicken was tender and flavourful and spiced to perfection and the rice and peas were so . Oxtail could’ve been better but I can’t complain for the price! $26 of food from the Roti Lady fed the 6 of us no problem. Everything was super hot and tasted fresh!

Absolute hidden gem ! I walked in and was greeted by the owner who promptly took my order. The food took about 15 minutes to come out. The large curry chicken roti was massive! The chicken was so fresh and juicy and had spice to it. Every bite of my roti had chicken in it. You could tell that the roti was hand made from the way it was grilled. Everything smelled so good. This is definitely my new roti place and everything was so affordable ! For a large roti and an Arizona was $16.95 !

For the reasons below this review is called the “One Roti Lady restaurant operation” I called the restaurant tonight at around 6pm for the first time and placed an order for delivery of 2 chicken roti and 4 beef patty and 1 small coleslaw. The delivery distance is 4km I waited over an hour & half (1.5hrs), no food. I called the restaurant several times but nobody answer. I thought for sure the food is not coming and started to make other arrangements.

Shortly after calling within 4-5min knock on the door the food was delivered. The delivery person was the roti lady. The lady who took my roti order was the same lady who prepared it and delivered it. Never seen that before. She took the order , prepared the food and delivered it. That is a one roti lady operation!

The Roti was great 5/5. The wait time was long 2/5 but considering it was a first time delivery, not familiar with the area, and travel distance I give them a 5 star rating on the service.

It costed me $32,plus $5 tip. The same order would have costed $45 plus tip if ordered from Cool Runnings . Price is 5/5

All together 5/5 rating. Thank you to the Roti Lady for the delivery of...

We've been taking out food from Roti Years for a few years. The food is worth waiting for (we've waited months to find her open). We recently order four different rotis and no one was disappointed with their order. The oxtail roti is bone and all and very rich and packed with flavour. Good selection of delicious vegan option which makes this a popular choice for take out since it offers something for everyone. Having gone there for years, we know not to expect a lot of social interaction. For those who commented about the wait, we call first and food is always ready on time. She doesn't have food sitting around to be served so expect to wait if you're walking in. She also doesn't always have what's on the menu so calling is recommended. (When she's busy, calling a few times is what it takes. It would be good if she changed her voicemail when she is closed though). For those who want it spicier, ask for hot sauce. She makes it herself and also sells it by the jar - it's excellent. No, I'm not related to her in any way but just trying to support a hard-working local business that deserves to stay in business because her food...
