The food is very good. Best on the Jane hands down. There are SOOOO many options missing from this menu and I know because I’ve actually been inside of the restaurant plenty of times. I called last week to order and I was having the same issue with the menu, the girl said she would call door dash so they can change it. I went back the day after and still the same. Today I called again, and it’s still the same. The manager is gonna let me know I should Select SMALL oxtail which is $12, and put it as a MEDIUM fried chicken. Mind you, a medium fried chicken is $8 :) I really had to call back and confirm the price, I was told HIS pricing IN STORE is different from DOOR DASH. Very unreasonable and unfair, whe we already have to pay DELIVERY fee plus service fee. So WHY would you be selling a $8 MEDIUM FRIED CHICKEN FOR $12?? What is the difference between when I buy it in stores? I will not be ordering until the menu is fixed. Cause I was never gonna pay $12 for a medium fry chicken. And to be honest, it makes me not want to even go IN stores and buy any food from you guys cause that’s very unfair, ah nuh so business run. You definitely just lost a customer. Read moreWhen attending the restaurant for takeout, every single item was sold out. The only two items that weren’t sold out, we decided to order.
Even with just two items remaining to order, you would think the service or portions would at least make up for it. The coleslaw for two dinners was one spoon full EACH, not even a full bite for a coleslaw dinner side.
As for the two chicken dinners, they didn’t even have enough rice to accommodate so one of the boxes were filled with plain rice to fill the order, which is embarrassing after not even receiving enough coleslaw.
To top it off, we paid for two drinks and didn’t receive them!
I just went in for two dinner meals, received a bite of coleslaw each, one dinner with half filler white rice, and then didn’t even get my two drinks in the bag.
The two employees were very nice and respectful, but the restaurant should be embarrassed to provide two “dinners” that are just boxes slammed with rice, no sides, paying for drinks that are not even in the takeout bag.
I basically just paid for old rice with chicken, a half spoon of coleslaw, and no drinks… and that’s after I decided to be nice enough to accept everything being sold out. You would think when having zero options, the only option I have would at least be catered too… but no. Read moreI was there Sunday with my father and brother. It was busy. Seem'd like only one person who was working doing cash AND SERVING FOOOD. ( talk about cross contamination) we ordered out food, took about 10 minutes to get.. When i got my food, it was okay, however i noticed that the rice and peas was burnt. My dad didn't notice the burnt taste on his meal cause his rice was full on gravy. I couldn't continue eating it cause of the burnt taste. My dad politely went back to the cash to see what they could do about it. All of a sudden this guy ( who was sitting down the whole time watching this girl handle the cash food by herself while it was busy) he gets up and starts getting an attitude because we complained about the food. He got all defensive about how the rice isn't burnt he made it himself and got an attitude. He went as far as to take my brothers food THAT HE WAS EATING OUT OF and cleaned up everything in a rude manner. He then proceed to give the refund however he slammed the money down on the counter. this extremely rude and unprofessional. When i paid, i gave the server the money in her hands, i expect the same thing... safe to say i will not be retuning to this establishment. Staff need to learn Customer service skills and TEAMWORK SKILLS AT THAT.
