This is a beautiful park, located West of Duplex Avenue, East of Avenue Road, just North of Eglinton - there is a great community centre with and indoor and outdoor pool, etc. There is a community garden, and then it leads into the park.

The park has a splash pad, play equipment, two baseball diamonds, numerous soccer fields, and washroom facilities in the center of the park. There are a few drinking water fountains located around the park, and most of the time they work. There is also a dog drinking fountain.

My one pet peeve (no pun intended) is that this is NOT a no leash park, yet many dog owners neglect to care, and more often than not they do not have control of their animal. I love dogs, but do not believe dogs should run up and start licking you, uninvited, as the owner yells for them to come, and proceeds to tell you they never run off - clearly they do if you call the dog and it doesn't come, so that's a pretty great indication to leave your dog on its leash. This doesn't count against the park, but more against some of the turnips that visit the park and think it is their own personal dog park - which I can assure you it is not. Again, I love dogs, but this is not acceptable based on by-laws.

Park is well maintained, safe, and there is a great hill to do hill runs near the...

The park is next to an indoor/outdoor hockey rink and a public indoor pool. There are some public parking in their lot and more off Eglinton. The park has a large playground that was renovated and greatly expanded in 2017. It has a soft "cork-type" flooring to protect kids who fall down. There are various pcs of equipment for children below 5 years and for kids 5-12. It is very popular with kids and can be very busy in summer. They have a wading pool next to the playground (separated by a fence) which is supervised by a city attendant. There is also a public washroom which is maintained daily. There is also a picnic area in a shaded part under large trees. The grounds are wheelchair accisible. As well, there is a large grassy park which is extensively used for kids soccer games during the spring/summer. The park is within a 5 minutes walk to the Eglinton Shopping Centre and the Eglinton subway stop (Yonge...

The park has an incredible layout for family, children and friends. It is accessible via the Eglinton subway and some bus lines. As soon as you arrive, you will see the entrance to the covered recreation center, where there is a heated pool and indoor activities. Now in summer, the park has outdoor pool activities open until the penultimate week of September. The structure is very cool and caters to all audiences (children, seniors, adults) The green area of the park is huge, with space for barbecues, picnics, an area for dogs (including a water fountain for pets) and an area with a baseball court. The playground has many new toys for children and sand pits, in addition to splash pads. The only problem with the playground is that in the heat there is no covered area for children and the toys become extremely hot.
