Tommy Flynn Playground — Attraction in Toronto

The playground itself was rebuilt about 5 years ago... It is getting pretty worn out... However it has some nice pieces for the kids.

It is next to a giant field and a big hill. Now field can get muddy

Note that the big hill has had sledding accidents into trees.

There is an outdoor pleasure skating rink and an outdoor hockey rink.

There's an indoor skating rink too.

The next door community center has a gym and an indoor and outdoor swimming pool.

Note that there is no designated dog park area. So you'll see bad owners with off leash dogs... Call 311 immediately so that by law officers...

This is a big one. Nice big playground with lots of activities for various ages. The ground is padded, which I personally enjoy more than wood chips. And the climbing boulder...is fibreglass.

The bathrooms are a couple of minutes of a walk and they are reasonably clean. Expect some mess...there are kids soccer games played on the field on the weekends. There is also a wading pool near by.

The playground and park is great, but have had many issues with off leash dog owners over the last couple of summers.

Off leash dogs entering the splash pad resulting in needing to drain and refill (Once happened twice in one afternoon).

Off leash dogs have also urinating on the children’s portable soccer nets during their practices without any acknowledgement from owners.

Without a true contained off leash area, it is a free for all and the dog owners we have encountered aren’t able to contain...
