My first visit!
Biggest menu I've ever seen.... I WAS looking forward to trying many items in the future.
But not any more.
Prices are NOT cheap, Benedict prices are in line with every other breakfast spot, and frankly, who cares when the food is bad how much you get or the price anyways?
I do NOT understand the 4.5 rating on Google... I think these are fake, some at least.
I ordered the Avocado Brie Benedict...The eggs, bacon, English muffin and hollandaise were all lukewarm or cold. And the whites were not cooked.
The potatoes were disgusting, they had a very very odd, astringent/medicinal taste, and so much red spice, what are they hiding?
Also note that the fruit isn't seeded (apples) and was brown, obviously not treated with citrus to stop the oxidation process!
So they remade the eggs. Believe it or not, it was actually colder than the first time and some of the white was not cooked. I just couldn't send it back again, people are starving right here in this city!
Waitress said she never gets complaints (keep reading to find out why).
I spoke with the owner. He said he didn't know what happened. He gets zero complaints on Google reviews (no wonder he isn't interested in Yelp!)
I told him that other yelpers also noted lukewarm food, it wasn't just me. And that I had cut a piece of the 2nd order, to let the waitress touch it. She agreed it was not hot.
After the owner left my table, three low-rent trash customers interfered and barked at me. And told me to basically shut up. Wait staff, see pics, chatted about it with 2 of them at the cash. Said "well when the dog is off the leash.....". Isn't that charming? SERIOUSLY.
Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL!
Owner did comp my food, which was good of him.
So. Prices are not trailer trash dive prices. They're competitive with every other breakfast and lunch restaurant.
So we should get hot, well made food. We certainly have a right to NOT be harassed and almost threatened by low-rent customers with extra large yaps. And the staff certainly SHOULDN'T engage in it. 3 feet away from customers.
In my opinion.
So I don't know if I'll ever be back. Shame, given its 5 minutes away and I...
Read moreEgglicious is a true gem for breakfast and brunch lovers, especially if you're a fan of egg-centric dishes. Their egg meals are nothing short of scrumptious! Every dish I've tried has been perfectly cooked, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. Whether you're craving a classic omelet, a hearty scramble, or something a bit more adventurous, Egglicious truly lives up to its name.
The fantastic food is made even better by their wonderful staff. There's one particular server—a truly sweet lady—who makes every visit a delight. She's incredibly attentive, always has a warm smile, and genuinely goes out of her way to ensure you have a great dining experience. Her kindness really adds to the welcoming atmosphere of the place.
While the food and service are top-notch, there's one significant area that needs attention: the HVAC system. The day I visited, it was incredibly hot inside, to the point of being uncomfortable. It really detracted from an otherwise perfect meal. Fixing the air conditioning would make a world of difference and allow diners to fully enjoy their delicious food in comfort.
On the practical side, Egglicious also boasts a large parking lot, which is always a plus, making it easy to pop in for a meal. And despite how busy they can get, the meals are served quite quickly, which is great when you're hungry and don't want to wait long.
Overall, Egglicious is a must-try for their delectable egg dishes and the lovely staff. Just be aware that on a warm day, you might want to call ahead to see if their cooling situation...
Read moreI went to this restaurant recently and ordered a mushroom steak. Honestly, it was a really disappointing experience. I was seated near the kitchen, so I could clearly see what was going on — and it was not okay at all.
The chef was eating inside the kitchen and wiping his hands on his uniform, which already made me uncomfortable. Then I saw him take my steak off the grill and place it on the plate. He seemed unsure if it was cooked properly, so he picked it up with his bare hand and put it back on the grill. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
I had also asked for a hard-cooked egg, but they gave me a soft one. When I asked them to fix it, they took the plate back to the kitchen. While doing that, they removed the potatoes from the dish and placed them directly on the grill to reheat. When they brought the plate back, the egg was finally hard, but the potatoes were completely burned.
And to make things even worse, the food took forever to arrive. The restaurant wasn’t even busy — only two or three tables had customers, yet it still took more than 40 minutes just to get my order.
The only positive part of the experience was the service. The server was polite and attentive. But sadly, the food quality, kitchen hygiene, and wait time were just unacceptable. I left feeling hungry, frustrated, and really disappointed.
I truly hope management takes this seriously. With proper hygiene, better kitchen practices, and a little more efficiency, this could have been a much...
