I would give this place a 3.5 star. As others have said, it’s a “Hole in the wall” with great food. I am a huge fan of Indian cuisine! When I was recommended to try “Feast of Dilli” by a friend I was stoked to try it! My wife and I arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. The place was quiet / empty so we were able to sit anywhere we wanted, we decided on a booth. Appetizers: 1)Veg Samosa 10/10 2)Veg Pakora 10/10 Our apps were to die for ! My favorite part of the meal actually ! Extremely fresh, nice and hot, very authentic/home made. Our server also brought us complimentary papadums which were also fantastic! Main dishes: (we decided to order a bunch of our favorites so we could try a little bit of everything & take home the leftovers) 1)Aloo Gobi 6/10 2)Muttar Paneer 7/10 3)Saag Paneer 6/10 4)Chicken Vindaloo 7/10 This is where they lost one star from my review. The portions were perfect, and the dishes came out nice and hot. Everything tasted very fresh and not overly oily / greasy but the flavours seemed to be a little bland/ less exciting when compared to their appetizers. Now I do understand that each locale in India cooks slightly different and my tastes might be slightly different than the next person. The main dishes were good but not amazing. If I were to go again I may ask the server for their recommendations rather than ordering the same dishes again. I should add the garlic naan was very good ! The other missing half star would be due to the points below: 1) the restaurant is not anything special to look at, if you are looking for a killer atmosphere this isn’t the spot for you. It’s a small/ cozy, looks like it needs a little bit of a makeover but has good food 2) parking is limited, (this might be a deal breaker for some). There are 4 spots our front and 2 more that they say can be used at the back of the building. 3) cleanliness, overall the place is clean, high level of hygiene. BUT... a pet peeve of mine is dishes / glasses that have been through the dishwasher and are “clean” but have food particles still stuck on the inside or hazy from the rinse cycle. My glass of water had some stuff stuck on the inside and looked like it could have used a quick wipe down after the wash. Another thing that I found strange and a little unprofessional, I asked for an itemized receipt at the end of our visit and was told they do not offer that. I thought maybe it was a communication error, but was reassured that they do not give itemized receipts, only the debit machine receipt showing the transaction was completed. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant but I do hope they can improve the overall experience and improve the quality of their main dishes to match up with their appetizers.

Truly an Indian restaurant in every sense. They know very well how to take care of their guests - "Athithi Devo Bhava". Their location is pretty cozy with lots of other businesses in the building as well as in the vicinity. This impact highly on the parking availability. There is only 3 street parking spots in front of the restaurant and approximately 5-10 at the back which are shared with other businesses. We highly recommend to call prior to driving there for parking space availability. I have attached a lot of pictures from the parking lot at the back for clarity. They do lack on handicapped accessibility in many ways. There is no handicapped accessible parking and the doors are not accessible too. The washrooms are one level down and hence the only way to go are the stairs. When it comes to the service and quality of the food there is probably no other restaurant that can satisfy you more than this one. The staff is super friendly and always available. The chef is always available for you to ask any questions about any dish and for any suggestions based on what you would like to eat. They do not hold back on the quality and quantity of the food. Anything and everything that comes out of their kitchen is amazing, delicious and India in every sense. However, the impact of this can be seen on the prices. We believe that the prices are a bit high. The menu is very simple but has a large variety of items. We ordered Paneer Tikka, Methi Malai and Dal with Naan and Kulcha. All of them were really well cooked and filled with flavors. The naan and Kulcha were super soft. Please note - In Methi Malai, there is no Methi. It's more of mix veg with a flavor of kasoori Methi. If you are ordering dal then pls order - Raisina Dal. There are no raisins in it. It is a specialty of the chef and worth trying. If you go on a weekend or ordering via phone on the weekend, pls ask about the dish of the week which is out of menu. This dish would be worth trying. Apart from their amazing service, they have maintained a very cozy ambiance. There are a lot of plants and a waiting space with a sofa. There are 2 washrooms downstairs which were very clean. All in all, an amazing Indian restaurant which is worth every penny you spend. The chef is from UP and is really amazing. The staff is very friendly and are always ready to help.

We found this hidden gem by accident. My friend was at the Collision Conference downtown Toronto and I live out in Mississauga. The restaurant is half way. My friend KJ is Indian but lives in Austin and he says there is no good Indian food. He needed to get his fix and The Feast of Dilli has good reviews. We had the Paneer Tika, Achari Paneer, Chana Masala, Garlic Naan and Kulcha with Aloo (potato). The Achari Paneer had depths of flavour I haven’t experienced before. This wasn’t your typical butter chicken takeout place — which is the equivalent of a cheese pizza — the safe choice. You can tell the chef has a higher level of skills than what you’re going to find in most butter chicken take out places. KJ said the chef is from the north and they just cook better than the south. The paneer tikka was fried squares of paneer win charred peppers, onions and tomatoes with a mint chutney. Anytime you put cheese and charred peppers together it’s going to be a revelation. I had warm burrata cheese with charred peppers at a small restaurant called the River and Post last year in Staatsburg, NY last summer and it was the best thing I ate all year. We ordered the fresh garlic naan crispy. We tore strips off and ate the paneer dishes with it. The owner — PVR -- yes that’s his name - served Kingfisher beer in frosted glasses. The beer was fresh and went well with the spicy food. There is ample parking but you may need to drive around the block. The area is up and coming. It has a certain bohemian chic that left the Queen Street West area decades ago. You may not want to make friends with random strangers late at night. PVR is an excellent host and every Indian restaurant since feels like a letdown. The Achari Paneer lives up to it’s reputation. I’ll be back with more friends in the next couple of weeks.
