Whenever the family has a big gathering for special occasions and we think of ordering one whole roasted pig (lechon) we always order from Sun Barbecue. Not only is the price reasonable but the flavour is so good. The skin is so crunchy and crispy and the meat tender, juicy and flavourful. The sauce that comes with the lechon is perfect pairing, it is sweet and sour made with a combination of liver, vinegar soy sauce and sugar. Bad experience. Lacking flavour, the lechon was not fresh and we ended up air frying to crisp the skin. It was not cooked properly. The fried rice was suppose to be yeung chow but it was not. There was no flavour and needed more seasoning. The wings are undercooked. We ended up putting it in oven again. The calamari was all breading. If we didn't have people to feed at the party we would have drove back and return it. We called to complain and all they said was return it. We will not be ordering here again....

I got food catered from here for a birthday party from a recommendation. I ordered 10 trays, including the ginger beef which was amazing, adobo chicken which was delicious and the spicy pork which was one of my favourites. Portions were generous (even for the small trays). Food was prepared on time, hot and they even threw in a Mango Pudding for dessert. Such a generous and pleasant experience with Jessie and Ken.
