I want to preface this by saying that I do not blame the staff themselves for the one star review.
This is consistently the absolute worst Tim Hortons I have ever been to. Unfortunately it was always right on my route to work so I would play a game where I would see if I could get my single cup of coffee before the gas I just paid for timed out. I don't think I ever succeeded.
This place is SEVERELY understaffed. I actually feel bad for the seemingly always female Indian students who work here.
I have personally witnessed several people in line actually making new friend with eachother over talking about how consistently slow it is to get a simple coffee.
To whoever is running this: you are not actually saving any money, in the long run, by not paying one more minimum hourly wage. You are hurting your business in ways you probably cannot actively see. People are a avoiding this place and it is gaining a bad, bad reputation.
I have had several conversations with people who were in the process of abandoning the idea or ordering here, because there were THREE people in line, and the joke was: this place having three people in line is like any other location having 100.
For the sake of the citizens who live in this area, and for the sake of the staff members you employ, please just put more people on shift.
Edit: if you're the owner, stop just spamming requests on every horrible review (every review in google is horrible) and just put more staff on. If this place wasn't jammed next to a gas station it would have gone...
Read moreSeveral months ago, I sent corporate a complaint with photos requesting a response, but I never heard back so I'm going to share my complaint here.
Last summer, I visited this location while out on a walk and was horrified to see multiple wasps flying around and landing on the donuts in the display rack when I was at the cashier waiting for my husband to finish placing our order. This is not the first time I have seen flying insects in the donut and pastry display case at a Tim Horton's location, but this was BY FAR the worst case I've seen and it made me nauseated to see so many wasps flying around all the donuts, cookies and croissants. I will never be purchasing any food from this location (and likely any other Tim Hortons locations) again until they clearly have a glass door in place on the other side to keep flying insects out!! Also, I have only been to this location three times, and on two of the three visits, the employee at the cash register has been very slow and unable to understand basic orders. I think that there are some serious management issues with this location that need to be looked at.
I have not been back here since, but I sincerely hope that they have cleaned...
Read moreThis is one of the worst Tim Hortons around. The staff seem to be very annoyed that they are even at work. The gentleman working this morning seemed like it was one of his first shifts. He could not understand customers and had to pass off his cashier duties to another employee. From what I saw there were only three staff present around 7:10am with a line up out the door. The manager or owner should take into consideration that in a morning rush customers are typically in a hurry and it is unacceptable to have to wait 15 minutes plus in line for a coffee. Their baked goods were also burnt this morning. Not blaming the staff if they were in fact new or understaffed but every other time i've been in there the staff are extremely slow with the exception of one lady I've seen several times, usually taking care...
