We wanted to grab something healthy and fresh while walking around distillery district on a hot afternoon, and found this place close by. It serves premium quality stuff which is absolutely fresh and delicious. The host has been doing this for 11 years and he knows what he is doing. You can talk to him about the nutrition fact of any item there and he will be happy to talk you through it. He uses clean ingredients to make everything. We ordered a mango iced tea, iced americano and an açaí bowl. Everything was on point. I highly recommend this place!

Great place for a fresh smoothie! Staff are always friendly and helpful. I like the detox smoothie menu, fresh, tasty with a good mix of veggies and fruit. Only criticism is I don't like the whey protein power they use for some smoothies but the smoothie flavours are on point. Peanut butter fuel balls are the best...even my picky boyfriend liked them. Can be purchased singles and as a set of 10. Perfect for a refreshing pick me up after a run or bike ride.

On a hunt for best breakfast bowl in town, this place would be last one on my list. I've tried a few of their breakfast bowls (lemon mango, chocolate, peanut butter) and have to say that they were pretty disappointing. They are small, higher in calorirs compared to other places and do not taste good. Toppings (blueberries etc) are defrosted frozan fruits and not fresh.

I rarely leave reviews, but after the experience we had at Fuel Plus, I feel compelled to share. From the moment we walked in, the service was beyond disappointing.

While ordering, I asked a few questions about the menu and potential customizations due to dietary restrictions (I have a dairy allergy and specifically mentioned concerns about cross-contamination). The man at the cash register seemed visibly annoyed, answering in a passive aggressive and rushed manner, offering no hospitality or patience. It felt like we were bothering him simply by asking for basic information.

After placing our order, we sat down and went to grab some cutlery and napkins, which were openly displayed by the register in a way you'd assume was meant for customer use, as is typical in most dining establishments. However, as soon as we picked them up, the same man approached us in an aggressive tone, asking, "What do you need?" He informed us that customers are not supposed to take them, despite how they were visibly presented.

Later, while eating, we tried to grab napkins again. He quickly walked over, grabbed them out of our hands, and limited us to two napkins, making a snide comment to his colleague saying, "It gets on my nerves when customers grab that stuff on their own." This was not only rude but unnecessary.

If your restaurant has a limited supply of napkins or cutlery, perhaps reconsider leaving them out in customer reach or, better yet, invest in adequate stock instead of making patrons feel uncomfortable for needing basic dining essentials.

Overall, there was no hospitality, no kindness, and frankly, it felt like we were being monitored the entire time as if we were doing something wrong. Dining out should feel welcoming, not like a chore or an inconvenience to the staff. Based on this experience, we will not be returning and would advise others to reconsider as well. There are far better cafes in the area—Dark Horse, just across the street, provides a much more pleasant, welcoming atmosphere.

This has been my go-to place to visit whenever I have spare time. A good selection of shakes, my personal favourite being the peanut butter jelly. But what’s really been disappointing me is the new set of staff. The old team used to be extremely kind and appropriate, but I’m assuming they have replaced them with new employees. Whenever I come in around closing time, I hear them playing explicit music which makes me feel extremely uncomfortable. I tend to bring my younger siblings here because they love the shakes, but I no longer can due to this inappropriate behaviour. I’ve also noticed that they have a freezer loaded with frozen wraps and burritos. The fact that they are charging $6-$7 for wraps that are not even fresh, but frozen, is ridiculous. This also goes for their soups. The fact that soup is $7 is insane due to the fact that the soup is not even fresh. I asked the employees where the soup was coming from, and no one ever knew, but eventually someone admitted to me that it was just canned soup. I would never revisit to order their food items, but I will definitely continue to come back for my peanut butter and...

Went there for mother's Day, my sister and I took our mom here. I saw an add on FB, looked really nice and full menu. But when we got there, two small tables. Kinda cute. And not a full menu. Some wraps two different oatmeal. I was looking forward to the power bowls and salads. I am Type 2 diabetic, and there wasn't a very good selection for a health food spot. I liked my coffee. And the peanut butter banana oatmeal was tasty. My mom ordered a chicken wrap. Too much wrap and too little filling. I think it looked like chicken, it was very dry. And they made the food and never brought it to us or told us it was ready. Small place and we never saw the girls, they stayed behind the barrier counter top banging pots and making noise. Juicer constantly on and we were the only customers. Two people came in to get coffee and left. But they sure sounded really busy. What I saw for the ad was not what we got, nor the very friendly service....
