Atmosphere - this restaurant offers modern fixtures and is a clean space. It lacks character and direction, looking in from the outside it’s unclear what you’re going to get from this establishment. Inside it is both physically and emotionally cold, could do with some floor to ceiling drapes to bring some warmth and character. Interior design is more reminiscent of a Vaughn grab and go style bistro rather a striking Toronto restaurant. I hope that over time they add more character and style.

Service was reasonable and lovely, our server was attentive and kind. All support staff were nice.

Food was good. Espresso martini was actually one of the best I’ve had in the city, martini was well made too, great bartenders making well balanced drinks. We ordered the fried shrimp cocktail which featured lovely succulent shrimp and a creamy and spicy cocktail sauce - would order again. The calamari was interesting featuring a five spice aioli but both dishes were fried and heavy and lacking acidity - quickly remedied with a squeeze of lemon when requested. The mushroom pasta had great flavour and featured everything you’d want in a creamy mushroom pasta, I would order again.

This is a hard restaurant to rate because nothing was really wrong but the whole concept seems unfocused and not really offering anything that isn’t already available in Toronto. Seems like it would be better to focus in on 1-2 styles of cuisine and make them really well rather than scrape the surface and do all encompassing fusion. It would be nice to see a manager or supervisor present and engaging with customers and creating an impact on the culture and “vibe” of the restaurant. I found the music selections and tvs odd for this style of restaurant and the tvs are anchored very high in the air so it wasn’t really practical to watch the...

We were so excited to try this place when we found out that it finally opened, as it had piqued our interest for a while! The food is solid, very reasonable pricing with large portions.

We got the small plate chicken wings tossed with a honey garlic sauce, half half charcuterie board, as well as the roasted oyster mushrooms. We also got to drinks, their Bellini and their Guinness on tap. They have a wide variety of wines and mixed drinks as well as various beers on tap!

The chicken wings were braised which I think in theory sounds good but I think left them feeling a slightly overcooked, however they made up for that with the generous portion size.

The half half charcuterie board provided a wide variety of samplers for cheese, meats, and small little bites. They provided hearty portions and we could barely finish it.

The most interesting dish that we got were the roasted oyster mushrooms, I had never seen a dish like this before so it was pretty unique. The one thing I will say is that I feel like the name it doesn't quite capture the type of dish you will get, I was expecting something more resemblant of sliced oyster mushrooms and battered individually. However the dish seemed to feature more enoki mushrooms and seemed a bit resemblant of a stir fry and is meant to be served on top of crostini breads. That being said, it was still very flavorful and I enjoyed this dish.

The service was very friendly and attentive. The staff was very warm. The atmosphere was nice and romantic. It will be interesting to see how this restaurant involves so we will...

One of the customers for their GRAND OPENING. The hostesses, especially Francis was fantastic. Super energetic! They were the only reason I came to eat here. It was opening day and I only went to stop in at the grocery store so it was an interesting surprise. They were super inviting. The waitress I had Ekaterina was great, she was super attentive and respectful. Yes, you pay for WATER here. However, the General Manager Tyler came by, asked for my comments and was pretty dismissive when I gave them. He proceed to mansplain to me how to aerate wine and take the wine glass and show me how to do it despite me telling him I’m aware of it. I’m a black man and young but I’m not incompetent by any means. The main critique I had was that the food was definitely under seasoned and lacks flavor. The burger lacked complexity. I had to ask for a bowl of salt. Tyler proceeded to tell me that their food is more catered to the “older crowd with sodium intolerances”. Given I was literally the first black customer at the restaurant, what I got from that was your restaurant is not intended to serve people like me. Not my age group nor my race/ethnicity. There may be room to grow for this restaurant, however, they will not be...
