barBURRITO — Restaurant in Toronto

I usually get the crispy chicken well done! I was at this location ordered the crispy chicken burrito with bang bang sauce! I told the guy I would like my chicken fried extra crispy! Well done basically. The reason for this is so that when the sauce is added to the chicken it can still stay crunchy! That what I prefer which is how I LIKE MY burrito. I felt like I was in twilight zone when the guy refused to fry the chicken well done. I actually said it twice! I wanted him to know before adding the sauce! Both times looked at me and continued to bring the chicken out, second time I say something he turns around, looked at me nods and then adds the bang bang sauce ”Then the third time he decided to reply (after already adding the saucee) and tell me that he can not fry it well done. It was the most disrespectful interaction I’ve ever had with someone working is customer service. I looked at him and said well why would I come to bar burrito if I am not able to have my Burrito made the way I like!! He actually went so far to tel me it would be burnt, raising his voice at me going on to say that it is fried for 8 minutes during the day and when the customer orders it they put it in for an extra 2 minutes!!! All I wanted was it fried and extra 5 minutea than usual! I’ve never in the history heard of chicken burning because it was friend an extra 5 minutes! And even if that is the case i TOLD him that’s what I wanted and he actually went so far to ignore my first THREE requests!! Then decided to get disrespectful and rude when I said it again because he was adding the sauce!! This was definitely one of my worst interactions ever in ordering fast food! He made me feel like I never ever want to eat at this location ever again, actually probably never even eat bar burrito again! Left a horrible bad feeling! They need to do better with the hiring process at this location or maybe having a supervisor on location at all times. Because the evening shift workers are...

I’ve eaten from here a few times, both takeout and dining in. The food I’ve received has always been fresh and tasty over the last 2-3 years. The service has been so accommodating every single time. Dining in was great because the space was bright, clean and airy. Glad it’s not too far away from me!

I note another customer has uploaded a photo of an employee in their review. I personally have been served by the same bearded gentleman at least twice and I experienced that he was professional, kind and very accommodating. I often come across a lot of overly entitled customers in food service settings and it’s so off putting to witness. People are just out here trying to do their jobs. Manage your expectations and attitude with fast food service and learn to be kind to people serving you food. Perhaps then you’ll start having better experiences...

Weirdest location. What is wrong with the portion sizes here ?! The guy behind the counter even quit using the appropriate spoon kept there for scooping veggie options and instead uses his two fingers to pick 2-3 vegetable pieces and that’s it💀 when asked to place more he placed 2 and a half more tiny skimpy pieces of sliced turnips.💀 Recession hasn’t hit this bad. He had a glove on one hand, But spoons and ladles are created for a reason people. And it was kept right there. The store is empty yet he cannot be more rushed.
