We were extremely disappointed by this store and its employees to the point where we will no longer be supporting your company. My partner purchased a protein powder Diesel for 89.95 a week ago. Now we went back because it was on sale for 79.99, and requested a price adjustment (which is EXTREMELY COMMON in retail) and the assistant manager took 10 minutes in the back of the store, probably waiting to see if we cared enough to wait around, to contact her supervisor. She informed us because it's been 7 days, the product had been opened, and we did not have it with us, That she could not do the price adjustment. This is a ridiculous policy. What a way to treat repeat customers who are spending 100+ dollars at your store per visit. Any other store and company will do price adjustments within a reasonable time period. One week is more than reasonable. Furthmore, why would we need to bring the product if it is NOT a return? What a joke of a store. Charging people insanely overpriced stuff for making healthier choices. We will be taking our business elsewhere. Shame on you and your employees. This is not even the first time we've had issues with your employees. I am truly tired of this store. Not a welcoming place at all.
Update: Sent in a complaint on their online contact us form, was told they would send it to the store itself as they were the online shop only. I did not receive a response from the store at all. I followed up and requested the email address of head office, and they forwarded my complaint. This is part of their response: "I'm sorry that you were disappointed that the store did not allow the price adjustment, however they were following procedures. It happens all the time in retail that customers buy a product for a certain price and then shortly after the item goes on sale. Some of our stores have customer appreciation sales for the weekend and if customers who purchased items in the store the week before the sale were to all bring their products back it would be absolute havoc.". My apologies that I am a paying customer (spending quite a bit at your stores) and would be causing HAVOC by requesting some customer service that is STANDARD at MANY retail stores. I have worked 3+ years in retail, all stores I have been at do price adjustments. If I wasn't receiving such ridiculous responses (and originally, lack of any response at all) to my complaint, I would have settled at my original review here. Shame on you.
Edit: did not receive notification that Sid (manager of store) had responded here. Thank you for that, I knew I wasn't asking for too much like they had thought I was (your store and head office). Please do give additional training on these procedures to your staff. However, the response I received from your head office was astoundingly negative and customer-blaming. I appreciate your response Sid, but I cannot support this company from...
Read moreThe customer service of some of the people working in this store makes their franchise/ brand name look extremely bad. Products are good, never had an issue with the manager SIDIK, he’s actually gone out of his way to help me out many times. How ever, the tall black guy (sorry dont know how else to describe him) always has an attitude when speaking to customers or addressing their needs. He seems like he does not want to be there , or even be helpful, but when he’s flirting with young women, all of the sudden he has all the energy in the world. I am not going to get into details online, but it’s clear this store has a record of disrespectful employees. Go train your employees on how to present proper customer service and not condescend people FOR ANY REASON ESP FOR NO REASON, AS THIS IS YOUR PLACE OF WORK. It’s not that hard to understand. While youre at it, give them a lesson on etiquette and explain why u don’t talk down to other people’s mothers because clearly there was no broughtupsy. Funny thing is, that’s all it takes for people to want to go elsewhere, how you TREAT your customers. If someone can’t understand that, it will be made obvious in due time when the locations closes down. Why even keep them around to embarrass your brand name even more in the first place? Just know, when i get wind of someone disrespecting my mother, i feel disrespected myself and i will not allow it especially if it was un called for. Everyone has bad days at work, but it’s the third time ive heard/ witnessed him being disrespectful, im tired of it. Something has to change or i will go higher up and make the change happen myself. Go disrespect and condescendingly speak down to your own mom. Not mine. Shame on you fr. This will get resolved and there will be an apology best...
Read moreCustomers get carded now for using your points at healthy planet apparently that's the new policy! Went into my favorite store, specifically for one thing I was approached by two women. One of them I asked to point me in the right direction and she did. And I took my time to read the ingredients in the products before I bought anything, but during that time, I felt that I was under constant watch by the two girls, and also by the store manager, even though the store was really crowded. The security guard made his way over quite a few times as well. I finally did ask the one girl for help and she she had no idea what I was talking about. I made it to the cash to make my purchase, they said "I needed to produce ID to use my points. It's their new policy. " Why would I give them a phone number that is going to be collecting the points from my purchase in order to use the measly five dollar points that I had existing? That doesn't make any sense ! When I asked them to produce the policy that they claimed its new! They didn't even know where it was to show me. Was this an invasion of privacy or they thought I was a thief or the managers just making up his own policies. If you're going to be asking customers to provide their ID to use their points have the signage out so people know this is for real and not just...
