Flawless dining experience. There’s nothing to complain about here. The staff were so friendly and the place is so quiet and cozy. Loved the meat pies and the fish and chips are top tier. Very “hole in the wall” kind of vibe and very clean place to eat with either friends or family. The fries are not the extra crispy kind that I tend to like but they complement the crispy fish really well. I highly recommend sharing plates and trying a variety of items. Coleslaw is a must to cut the fried food and the poutine was solid. Loved the shepherd’s pie. Cost is very reasonable and the lunch deal is definitely a steal. Will visit again!

A true fish and chips experience with all the cozy English vibes. It’s no wonder why they are a top rated fish and chips spot From the time you step in, you’re greet d very warmly by the staff and they also take care of you as needed The fish was so crispy and you hear the crunch on every bite. The fish was flaky and never left a nasty greasy feeling on your palate. Got the dine in special and the fish size was decent. Was the perfect amount of food where you aren’t left feeling bloated aftewards. Parking is ample and you can pick and choose your spots. Great job overall!

Absolutely delicious and authentic UK fish and chips.... Spotlessly served in a nice environment... Open kitchen is excellent, it looks like it's being run by an actual chef Vs line cook... meat pies and pork pies that are available are absolutely delicious and incredibly authentic... Much care is taken over the prep here... decent gravy, proper chips, using the right potato varieties. Please support this local business... I will make it my regular fish and chips spot. Please do the same or it will be a kebab shop before you know it!

Extremely rude customer service!! I walked in asking for more tartar sauce with my 2 orders and the girl at the front desk slammed it on the table. Her attitude was unnecessary and uncalled for. I came in the establishment extremely polite and she proceeded to yell at me in a condescending way with much attitude because I asked for more tartar sauce? I would advise that she get some coaching on how to speak to people in a nice manner. I felt attacked for such a small gesture of asking for more tartar sauce. I don’t know if it was because I was a person of colour but she got fired up and super aggressive for no reason at all — even after I offered to pay for it even though it came with my meal. There are many fish and chip places in this area. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone and I will be writing a blog on this horrible experience.

** Google response back: it’s a shame you can’t even own up to the rude customer service I received and apologize. Perhaps I should just release the video I took of how your establishment treated me being a person of colour. I have a lot of followers on social media and since you don’t want to take accountability of your actions perhaps I should just release the video. All I wanted was an apology. Have a bless day. Not even a 1 star rating for this...

This place might be the WORST fish and chips restaurant in Toronto. I visited a few weeks ago and the fish was crumbly, over greased and tasted as though it had been sitting in the fryers for a good while before it unfortunately made its way into my takeout- don't get me started on the fries! And if the food wasn't as atrocious, the older Asian woman who identified herself as the owner was highly condescending, rude, dismissive and very unhelpful when I asked questions about the differences between the types of fish they had.

I have connections with Buzzfeed and BlogTO, as well as other public forums and are highly considering writing a piece about just how awful the food and that particular owner was during my experience! The professionalism was God awful and the food nothing to brag about! I will NEVER be back at this particular food place and will ensure that everyone I know doesn't spend their hard earned money there...

Fish here isn't bad, service is pretty horrible though. You walk in to an ordering desk for takeout orders and no servers greet you for seating, they'll charge you for everything, including tartar sauce AND to sit there and eat. After ordering my food and paying for it all (haddock and chips with a tartar sauce and drink, which came out to around $16, I gave an extra $2.50 tip) when I asked to sit down and eat it in the restaurant I was then told that I would need to pay an extra $2 if I want to eat here. And no, I couldn't use the money I gave as a tip to eat in the restaurant. Dont eat here if you expect any sort of service, they wouldn't let me leave until I paid the extra $2, and they dont allow card payments for anything under $5. They'll try to charge you for everything, but this is the first time I've been to a restaurant that charged me a few for eating at a table in...
