The customer care is horrible, especially from the custmer care department managers. The Dundas and Bloor location had about 4 employees who were not wearing masks, they were handling food and handing food to customers without a mask on. Only 1 employee was wearing a mask. I called the head office immidiately, however the representative Paras refused to transfer my call to a manager and did not take the matter seriously. I had to call back to get transferred to a manager as he refused multiple times. The manager Omar offered to refund the order, which they should as I returned the order back to the store. However, Omar said that he was doing that for the inconvenience. In other words, nothing was done about the inconvenience. He gladly transferred the matter to the district manager as if he knew they will have no repercussions for their behaviour towards customers and inability to solve problems. The district manager Jerry called and he sounded so nonchalant about the matter. It was clear why the customer care department acts this way towards their customers as the district manager made it seem as nothing will be done about their horrible customer service as he sounded as if he really did not care to even speak about the matter. His tone of voice and the way he communicated was unacceptable as he said I can see other complaints you have made as if he is implying that I just complain to get stuff out of them or for fun. I said I have called before for a pick up order, which took 1.5 hrs. I first tried to order on the app and the new optimization feature, made the price of the order $20 more than it should be. So we called it in. And the lady gave the price, same as the one online. And she couldn't figure out how to fix it. She kept putting me on hold, and asking managers and no one could figure out what was happening. Basically we ordered 2 triple play bonus bundles (one topping large pizza, 10 wings, 2 dips and 3 bottles of ginger ale for 29.99) on one we got an extra topping so it was 33.49, the other had an extra topping and extra cheese so it was 36.24. We also ordered a garlic bread with cheese for 5.74. showed subtotal of 75.47 I'm the cart before you hit the checkout button. BUT the subtotal changed to 92.77 after you hit check out! 33.49 +36.25 + 5.74 =75.47, not 92.77!!! So I knew something was SO wrong. The app automatically gives you the "best" deal and doesn't let you toggle it on or off. Just does it automatically. It would be better if you could toggle it on or off, depending on the deals because this is ripping people off big time. Long story short the lady didn't know how to help, so I had to suggest a solution of placing it in 2 orders so it couldn't be optimized. Thankfully the second delivery fee was waived. But seriously! He offered me dried up slices that were sitting in the warmer. Then out of nowhere says what will you have. A party pizza. Please double the toppings. He snaps at me. Now I have to reentering everything h again. I am not engaging with the sour attitude. I am hungry and have a house full of hungry people to feed. $52.79. 20 min sir.
