I came here on a recommendation from a friend who had hyped it up and was fully intent on scrutinizing his review…. The pork belly sandwich is among the best sandwiches I have ever tried. Period. And many a sandwich I have tried. I had no idea such tenderness could be achieved in pork belly. It was so exceptional I could not leave without telling the owner, who is a great guy and whose passion you can immediately tell. Grab a delicious sandwich and a drink and have yourself a picnic at Trinity Bellwoods. What a great addition to the neighborhood just in time for some beautiful weather. I eat a lot of sandwiches and slow cooked meat, and I can say that these are spot on. Great flavor, tender, reasonably priced, and I like that you can choose the size of sandwich you want. Clean, functional, low-key place that lets the quality of its food speak for itself.
