One of the best places to play basketball in the city. The court has recently been renovated and some good people come here to play. There is always someone to play with. Most are regulars. On weekends and rush hours you’ll find a cool community here to chill and play some ball. I’ve seen people from all levels but most have a decent understanding about the game of basketball. Bonus: There are washrooms nearby park. There is rarely any soap but it is reasonably clean otherwise.

It's an older park. The playground equipment is old and sun damaged, but still functional. The spinning wheel a warped, but still spins. Many parents have left older toys in this playground for younger children to play. All this doesn't matter to my 4 year old daughter as she just likes to play. There is also a wading pool here.

Its a good park with all the basic stuff (basketball court, picnic tables, kids playground, public washrooms) and it is in a very central easy to access location. The playground is old and has sand that can be annoying on the feet depending of the footware. The north side has more shadow than the south part.

Stanley Park is located on both the south side of King St as well as the north side of King St. The south side of the park is quite large with an open field area, Picnic tables, baseball diamond, tennis court, public outdoor pool, and fenced in dog park. On the north side you'll find a large basketball court, public restrooms, childrens playground and splash pad. Picnic tables and benches also surround the park. It's very clean and well kept. The restrooms are also clean as well. Overall because the park is located between residential buildings and homes it's quite calm with a family friendly welcoming atmosphere. Overall I felt safe. During the summer and weekends it can get quite busy. Many people have birthdays and family get togethers in the open field area during the summer. The pool is also free to the public. It is small and can fill up fast on hot days. A cute place to hang out with friends or...

Went to the pool to enjoy a day with my granddaughter who was visiting. There was a mother there with a two year old on the other side of the line in the deep end because the shallow end was so packed so I joined her there. The life guard immediately came over to my granddaughter and I and asked us to leave the deep end but didn't ask the other person to leave. Amazing how prejudice it felt to be treated this way. No rules on deck saying anything. Called the park supervisor to complain and she made it worse by sticking up for lifeguards and asking them after embarrassing us to bring the rules out from inside building ended up leaving with my granddaughter complaining about how the bad people treated her and saying she never wants to go there again. Pretty bad hearing that from a...

Covid-19 clearly doesn't exist at this park!

The playground area is CONSTANTLY packed with people, hardly anyone wearing masks. No one keeps their distance from each other - it's extremely scary.

The playground structure itself isn't that great, nothing special. Stanley Park is one of the only parks in Toronto that still has one of those Merry-Go-Rounds made from metal. SCARY SCARY SCARY. I've seen young children fall off and roll under the merry-go-round and get hurt. I've seen the merry-go-round spin soooo fast with loads of children crowding on it, children flying off, children being stepped on, children get badly injured.

I truly feel this needs to be removed, it's...
