I recently placed an order with Sisters & Co. through Uber Eats, and let me just say, my experience was beyond exceptional. I had been craving their famous cookie pancake meal, and it was the time of the month for me. The thing is the cookie pancakes is only available in the restaurant and not listed on the delivery menu. On a whim, I left a note in my order, half-expecting it to be ignored or politely declined. To my surprise, not only did they acknowledge my request, but they went out of their way to make it happen.
I couldn’t believe it when the delivery arrived, and there, packed with care, was the pancake meal I had been craving! I was honestly floored by their kindness and willingness to go the extra mile. In an era where most places follow strict rules, Sisters & Co. broke the mold and showed what real customer care looks like. They didn’t have to honor my request, but they did—without hesitation—and that gesture alone spoke volumes about the heart and soul behind this restaurant.
The pancakes were, of course, as delicious as I remembered. Soft, fluffy, and perfectly cooked, they came with all the little touches that make their in-house dining so special. The quality wasn’t compromised one bit, and I could feel the love and care they put into every bite. It’s rare to experience that kind of hospitality through a delivery order, but they made it feel personal and thoughtful.
This is more than just a restaurant; Sisters & Co. embodies what it means to uplift and connect with people. The fact that they honored a special request not even available on Uber Eats says everything about their dedication to their customers. Their gesture made my day, and it’s something I’ll never forget.
To the team at Sisters & Co., thank you from the bottom of my heart for going above and beyond for me. You’ve shown what true girlhood and community spirit look like, and I can’t wait to keep supporting your wonderful restaurant. Whether in-person or through delivery, you’ve gained a loyal customer for life. I’ll be recommending you to everyone I know—because it’s not just the food, it’s the heart behind it that makes Sisters &...

(Slightly) longer review for those not in a hurry:
Taste (3/5) :
Everyone who knows me knows I LOVE truffle! The Mushroom Truffle Benedict I ordered was delightful! With cremini and Portobello mushrooms, truffle oil, two poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce on an English muffin, and served with home fries and salad, it was an excellent choice! The fries were crispy, and the mushrooms gave a refreshing backdrop for the eggs benny. The truffle was present but not too overwhelming - definitely a proper pick. I paired this with a matcha latte :)
Now, believe me when I say I love my matcha, but the matcha latte here was quite strong and on the bitter side. Usually in a matcha latte, the creaminess of steamed milk and ever so slight subtle natural sweetness of the milk would offset the grassier side of the matcha latte, but here the milk was slightly under steamed, and the matcha much too bitter. I think for a brunch place it's pretty darn important that their hot beverages be half the meal, so I'm going to have to say no to this one.
My friend got the Bulgogi Beef Benedict. Though what was on the plate was definitely not bulgogi in the traditional sense, it was a more interesting blend of flavours and textures in contrast with the eggs benny.
Place (3/5) :
The restaurant interior itself was great, but definitely quaint and compact. The aesthetic was nice and clean, but there was just something slightly missing that didn't punch as hard as other Ossington brunch places. For the Ossington area, the restaurant design and ambience match the price point - local, friendly, and pleasant, but not particularly impressionable.
While I wouldn't go out of my way to visit (I no longer work downtown), I would recommend people in the area to visit for the relaxed, put-together, approachable taste, and simple aesthetic.

I recently had the opportunity to visit an Asian-owned brunch spot, known for its unique take on classic brunch dishes. Among the most intriguing menu items were the Bulgogi eggs benedict and California sushi style eggs benedict, along with the ever-popular matcha latte.
While the eggs and hollandaise sauce were executed perfectly, the main components of the dishes left me wanting. The Bulgogi, while cooked well, was underwhelming and didn't quite capture the bold flavors of traditional Korean barbecue that I was hoping for. Similarly, the imitation crab in the California sushi style eggs benedict didn't quite hit the mark in terms of texture and flavor.
Unfortunately, the matcha latte was also a letdown. It lacked the distinctive earthy flavor of matcha and instead tasted like a simple cup of hot milk. The fact that extra charges applied for adding sweetness was also disappointing.
Those hoping for classic brunch staples like fried chicken and waffles will be disappointed, as they are not offered on the menu. However, the waffles served at the restaurant were a standout component. They had a lovely texture and were complemented nicely by the marscapone cinnamon cheese.
Despite some disappointments in the food, the restaurant's service was charming and attentive, and the vinaigrette on the salad was particularly enjoyable. The home fries were also noteworthy.
In conclusion, while the Asian-owned brunch spot offers an interesting take on classic brunch dishes, it falls short in some aspects. It's worth a visit to try the unique menu, but it's not a restaurant that I would personally...
