I lived in China for years and fell in love with Hunan cuisine. Hard to find Hunan food, most menus have Sichuan chicken and no Hunan. This is the only place I have found so far in Ontario that makes the dishes I want. Our order was fast, fresh, authentic and spicy! Staff was helpful and efficient. We had hot and sour shredded potato, spicy green beans with minced pork and sliced fried pork with hot green peppers. I don’t know why this place has such a low rating. It’s very authentic Hunanese food. I’ve been to Hunan and lived in China for 16 years. Maybe someone from Hunan might disagree with me but based on me. Salted ham and garlic scapes were excellent. Flavors are strong and salty. It’s meant to be eaten with rice so order a few bowls. I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The customer service was absolutely the worst I've ever encountered. Not only did they insist on cash only payments, which is incredibly inconvenient in this day and age, but they also forced me to give a tip.
