Yet, it was the zesty Mexican power bowl ($15.50) that drew me in. Yes, it contained kale (not massaged so my least favourite way of eating the fibrous green), but also roasted sweet potatoes, red peppers, rice, and a nutty tostada crumble. It’s healthy but filling. Filling indeed as I had to get the rest to go, which once augmented with more salad mix was enough for a second lunch. The bowl also desperately needed more sauce. Despite containing black bean mole, avocado, salsa, cashew sour cream, and a cilantro jalapeno dressing, the kale was still tasteless and dry. Impact Kitchen seriously needs massage and “marinate” the greens beforehand. The added falafels (additional $5.99) were dense and baked – lacking a crispy crust that makes these snacks delicious. As a falafel they blow but as a savoury snack ball they’re not horrible. Thankfully, our server asked if I wanted hot sauce on the side, that mild chili garlic sauce saved the day. Even then, I could only manage having one falafel at the restaurant and couldn’t get through the others until I had a creamy dipping sauce the following lunch. Impact Kitchen’s display case of baked goods drew us in and were surprisingly delicious for being gluten free. While I could have done without the sea salt on the chocolate sea salt cookie ($4.50), this was easy enough to dust off. Soft and chewy with a deep cacao taste, the cookie is the closest thing to a “sinful” dessert you’ll find here. The almond protein brownie ($4.99) tasted “healthy” and the texture a bit crumblier than a traditional brownie… likely on account of the whey protein powder. If you can withstand temptation, save some for the next day, as it became tastier as the flavours intensified. Their matcha latte ($5.99) was beautifully presented, incorporating a rich green tea flavour and a creamy matcha dusted foam. It was one of the better versions of the drink I’ve ever had.

This new location just opens beside my office love it! Nice environment, bring your computer friendly - I know many of us will be hanging out here a lot. Excellent services and friendly staff, Nice decor, level of music and noise is ok. Food wise a lot of good healthy choices! I will be reviewing each here as I’m trying it out all. Matcha latte 😍with unsweetened almond milk: first of all the matcha is unsweetened👌 just as how real matcha shall be served; almond milk is truly unsweetened. ($6) Red lentil soup: 😍 excellent consider it is cafe lentil soup. Nice mix with some veg. Great everyday. Falafels: 😏ok .. but kind of wired: so this is not the regulate fried falafels, it is dehydrated mixed of chickpea, seed and I also taste some nuts. To me it taste more like a salty version of energy ball, a little bit wired not in sweet version. I’m not sure many ppl will like it. Consider make it cold none fry version they did pretty good job as it does taste like falafels. Beef stew: 😍 first of all this is a lot meat even for 8oz. Come with toaster Potato it is more than a full dinner meal for me. The beef is tender, flavourful. $8.99 Root salad: 😍mixed grilled roots, nice mix cooked veg with raw veg, highly recommended. Lean bowel: 😍 light arugula based salad with avocado smash added grilled salmon, satisfaction without guilt Raw chocolate cookie: super good Tips: - upstair lounge is small and quieter. - they have the most amazing back yard! a lot of shade, comfortable sitting, much quieter as well. sometime I bring in computer just hide here as it is so nice. So far!

I’ve tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt after a few bad experiences but unfortunately I have to write a review after what happened yesterday. I ordered my usual zesty mexican bowl for takeout, and my order took close to 30 minutes to prepare. I didn’t have time to check the bag before leaving but after arriving at work I realized they had forgot utensils even though I asked for a fork (how am I supposed to eat without?) I had to ask another nearby restaurant for a fork which was embarrassing. However the real problem was that my bowl (pictured) was absolutely not fresh. An indication of this was that it was completely cold, if it had been made fresh there would have been some components that are partially hot. The rice was dry and cold, the sweet potatoes were cold, chewy and tough and the beans were cold as well. The avocado was watery and they did not provide any of the dressing either. The worst part was that I started to feel unwell about an hour after eating, so much so that I had to leave work. I tried calling Impact Summerhill multiple times to let them know about the situation but no one ever picked up and I was just sent to a pre-recorded voicemail that said to leave a message and they will get back to me in “2-4 days”. I am still feeling unwell today and still no one is answering the phone. I am very, very disappointed and upset and absolutely do not recommend eating here.

Impact Kitchen’s Summerhill location is an absolute treasure! Nestled in a charming neighborhood, this branch perfectly combines a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with modern, clean design.

The menu is a testament to health and flavor, offering a wide variety of options for every dietary need. During my visit, I had the Avocado Toast and the Green Smoothie – both were outstanding. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The turmeric latte I ordered was the best I’ve ever had, warming and comforting with a perfect blend of spices.

One of the standout aspects of Impact Kitchen Summerhill is their commitment to sustainability. It’s heartening to know that the delicious food you're enjoying is made with locally sourced, eco-friendly ingredients. This ethos resonates throughout the entire dining experience, making it feel both wholesome and responsible.

The prices are reflective of the quality and care that go into each dish. While not the cheapest option, the value for money is undeniable considering the nutritious, thoughtfully prepared meals you receive. The portions were just right, leaving me satisfied without feeling overindulged.

The staff at Summerhill are exceptional – friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Even during peak times, service was prompt and efficient, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

Impact Kitchen Summerhill isn’t just a place to eat; it's a destination for those who value nutritious, delicious food in a warm and welcoming setting. If you’re in the area and looking for a meal that’s both satisfying and nourishing, this is the place to be....

In early September, my wife and I were returning from the hospital with our newborn baby boy. It was getting late in the night. We were tired, happy, and hungry. We had our hands full, so we placed an online order to Impact Kitchen through Uber Eats.

We got a phone call from Impact Kitchen about 10 minutes later, saying the kitchen had run out of the item my wife had ordered, and asked us to make a replacement. Unfortunately, our phone call extended past 9pm, when the kitchen was officially closed through Uber Eats, so we were unable to make a change on the app. The woman from Impact tried making the change on her end, but Uber Eats ended up cancelling the order. She called us back apologizing profusely, even though it wasn't her fault, which was very sweet of her.

A couple of minutes later, we got another phone call — this time, from the assistant manager at Impact Kitchen's Summerhill location. He said he heard about our situation, and offered to drive the meal over to our condo, free of charge. We wouldn't pay for the meal, or the delivery. We accepted his incredibly gracious offer — and when he arrived at our door that night, he turned me down when I tried offering him money for the meal and delivery. This was an incredible act of kindness.

My wife and I have always loved the food at Impact Kitchen, but this customer service truly exceeded all expectations and was, in every sense of the word, exemplary. I know it sounds a bit corny but Impact Kitchen was there in our moment of need. My wife and I will be lifetime patrons of Impact Kitchen because of these two wonderful people and their...
