Tucked in the busy neighborhood between Avenue street and Yonge, this park is a surprise find.

The Park has been renovated with few more things to be completed. It has basketball and tennis courts. Basketball court is at the Yonge entrance whereas the Tennis courts are closer to Avenue entrance.

Plenty of washrooms but only the ones near the tennis courts were open.

Nice little playground for kids with fun structures. There is also a sandplay area and a splash pad. The entire playarea is safe and the structures are new. Thanks to Kompan, their structures are durable and fun.

Plenty of open spaces around so choose a spot to have fun with your family.

P.S: While there we didn't see anyone with a BBQ so maybe that is not allowed.

Worth a visit, go...

This park is amazing! The space is fairly large for the dog park yet not that big but it has 2 separate gates one area for most dogs and a separate area for smaller dogs/ if you want alone time with your dog. It is attached to larger area but blocked off by a fence and gate. The owners and dogs are amazing here. The owners keep watch of their dog and never leave them out of sight. The dogs are all friendly and well manned. My dog is a husky mix and absolutely loved this park with all the dogs and people. Would recommend this park over any other dog park I have visited. 10/10 fabulous dog park!

As well, the overall park is huge and has everything from tennis courts to basketball courts. It is amazing for a day out with your...

Fantastic, modernized playground for kids up to 12 years old, includes a wet pad operational during the summer, lots of seating areas ... and I hesitate to add a small, hidden gem for winter tobogganing. A couple of climbable trees (for those so inclined to do so), a lovely pair of open air ice rinks, fully maintained during the winter, a couple of stone table-tennis / ping-pong tables, some basketball courts, a number of tennis courts and an off-leash dog walking space that seems well used. There is a lot of grassy space for picnics. Nearest subway is Rosedale, and there are washrooms available but appears closed at the time of this writing due to COVID restrictions. Great...

There is convenient free parking off Yonge Street (check out maps). The park has 8 tennis courts, large grassy area and a playground with splash pool. The playground has soft "cork-style" flooring to protect children who fall. The large splash pool is to one side with two levels of equipment for small and older children. At present, only the washrooms located beyond the tennis courts are open. The men's room has very strong urine scent. Some of the equipment is not the "standard" city equipment which makes it attractive to kids. The playground is wheelchair accessible and so are the washrooms. There are also 2 basketball courts, an outdoor hockey rink and a baseball diamond.

The Park, managed by the City of Toronto, offers a delightful escape just five minutes from home. This well-maintained space is a haven for nature lovers, with its canopy of mature, stately trees providing shade and tranquility. The park features a variety of amenities, including multiple tennis courts that are perfect for both casual and competitive play. For families, the cushioned playground offers a safe and fun environment where children can enjoy themselves freely. The Dogs Off-Leash Area is another thoughtful addition, creating a welcoming space for pet owners and their furry companions to socialize and play.

Ramsden Park is a great park, literally right off Yonge Street and directly across the street from the Rosedale Subway Station. So convient. There Plenty of amenities here for children, families, adults and pets! Some of the facilities include a ball diamond, playground, wading pool, tennis courts, basketball courts and an off-leash dog area! There plenty of trees to provide shade, picnic tables and other benches. Have a picnic if you are inclined. A good place to spend a couple of hours relaxing or getting some exercise! In addition, there are washrooms and working water fountains.
