Island style Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Toronto

This has to be highest bait restaurant I’ve ever been to, pictures and reviews show it as a regular, almost nice restaurant but it was absolutely horrendous.

We waited an hour, absolute terrible service, for garbage food we don’t know if they got from another restaurant. Dirty inside, plastic utensils, styrofoam containers.

The worst part was still the food , absolutely atrocious as we got the rice noodles that were bland, barely browned vegetables, crazy that is was raw inside. Massive chunks of onions, broccoli, and cabbage. Pretty sure they found this found at another restaurant since how it was served. Literally got served the white head of the cabbage. The management is disgusting in this place, please be aware before...

The owner is really rude. I personally know her and met her before. I came to her bar for the first and she asked me not cause trouble which really rude to say especially when you met the person. She than has the audacity to treat me like I wasn’t going to pay shoving the debit machine in my face. I’ve welcomed this women to my home and she treated me like that while treating other customers more welcoming. I will never return to this place. She doesn’t deserve a good person like my self to spend a penny...

I'm so glad that Kavita has opened her restaurant. It's a great place to grab a drink and food, and the bar is well stocked. The restaurant gives you that rum bar vibe, and I enjoyed the special chicken fried rice, and the pepper shrimp was also delicious—spicy but not too spicy, with the perfect flavour to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed.

The food is made to order and took about 15 minutes, but no complaints here; I would rate slow food over fast food any day. I'm looking forward to trying other items...
