Top notch place, all round all things considered is probably the best place to eat in Kingsway village. Biggest selling factor: value. $25 for dinner, but man it's a lot of food. You get a sizeable started salad with most meals, bread included, and heaping portions. Not american "clog your heart and die young portions", but hearty, valuable ones, that harken to a day when restaurants weren't just about the bottom line.
And the food you get is good. I don't mean like "o hey that big macs pre good fam." I mean like good, the sort of you good you can only find at restaurants; good as in the reason you decide to go out instead of trying to make something yourself. The vegetables are cooked perfectly: soft so they're not a chore to eat but not mushy. The potatoes and top notch, soft and buttery, and that's coming from an Irishman so you can take that to the bank. The meat is cooked well, smartly and with care but nothing extraordinary. The sides though are the specialty. One recommendation is the octopus dinner. I'm no aquaman, but damn that's some good octupus. Every mouthful is a joy. When you order food from Just Greek, you're gonna get something better than what you can make at home.
Service is fine. Nothing special where they rub you're feet, but you can be confident they're not gonna spit in your food. It's exactly in the middle of too much and too little, which is fine. Atmosphere is vaguely greek, but could just as well pass for Italian or Portugese; wine bottles and vines, typical fare. Nothing special, but nothing missing either.
Just Greek is the place to go if you're looking for the most bang for your buck. It's the place to go if you actually looking for succulent, simply delicious food when eating out; the sort you couldn't make at home. Would recommend to anyone.

Read moreFrom the time I entered Just Greeks I honestly felt like I was at a small village restaurant in Greece. The authenticity and ambiance of this great little gem bringsback old memories of me with my family on vacation in Greece.
The music, The Smells, The Art work and most importantly the staff brings you back in time where things were simple. Great food selection, mostly organic home grown meals that please everyone’s pallet. I ordered the Saganki and Calamari for Appz and they came fresh to the table steaming hot and ready to be devoured. The taste and flavors of the authentic spices used to create these apptz was clearly evident. In fact my "wifey" Pam and I were fighting over who eats the last piece of the saganaki cheese.
The main course was a great follow up from the apptz. I ordered the succulent chicken souvlaki meal with rice and potatoes. An absolute classic choice! The chicken was tender, the rice was cooked just right with added sauce and infused with flavors that literally made me say out loud “OPA” that’s the wow factor for the GREEKS! Every bite just got better. The tzatiziki sauce which is a staple for all souvlaki meals almost tastes better than my mom’s home grown recipe, I say almost cause I need to make sure she’s still my number one, it’s MOM can’t place mom 2nd….
Finishing the meal with a Greek coffee and baklava was the best way to top off my experience. I highly recommend this place for its atmosphere, food quality and service. It won’t break the bank and will earn you great “browny” points as it did for my wifey , she was extremely pleased I brought her to this amazing...
Read moreWe ordered from here on Doordash and since there is no option for a side of pita on the Doordash menu, we called and asked if they could substitute the regular bread with pita since we were getting two sides of tzaziki. The lady who answered the phone when we called was very uninformed and at first said "No, we can't do that" and then she followed that up with "let me ask the other lady here....I don't know".....Then she returned and said "yes, we'll substitute the regular for pita. The order came and there was no pita....only two rolls. My husband called the restaurant to make them aware of the issue and we were obviously not happy. We weren't rude or belligerent but asked to speak to the "boss" who proceeded to unapologetically ask "so what do you want me to do?". Subsequently, he hung up. My husband was even more upset and called back again and when the owner recognized his voice, he slammed the phone down again! Such atrocious customer service.... Now, about the food! Ok so after the aforementioned horrible service we really wanted to HATE the food! The problem is that the food was okay. The chicken souvlaki dinner was good, the tzaziki was good and my greek salad was tasty (hard to screw up Greek salad!). Luckily, there are a LOT of great Greek restaurants in Toronto and more specifically in Etobicoke and Mississauga. We'll be taking our business elsewhere because of the owner's sheer ignorance but he likely won't care if his attitude was any clue! I personally recommend avoiding this place and giving your business to a restaurateur who legitimately cares about...
