Great food, but customer service needs to improve. I’ve been to this location a number of times and I always seem to have to clarify my order over the phone because they always seem to have trouble hearing clearly. This time the woman who took my order was rushing to get off the phone, which I understand since it’s the dinner rush. She kept repeating the wrong item and I kept correcting her. I tried to confirm the price as another way to make sure she heard me correctly but she cut me off. Not surprisingly, they got my order wrong when I went to pick it up. It was no big deal to me and they made my order pretty quickly. What wasn’t cool was how the woman continued to cut me off when I tried to explain. I didn’t argue as I just wanted to get my dinner and get out of there (it’s a small space). She finished off my telling me to call next time if there was a problem. I’m not sure how that would have helped since she wouldn’t give me the time to confirm my order the first time I called. I also saw her fully ignore an Uber driver who asked about his order because he’d been waiting there for a while. It’s worth noting that she still called out the wrong order when she handed me my takeout bag, so I’m convinced she misheard me on the phone. So, I’d still recommend this place but brace yourself for some less-then-pleasant...

Before I start, this was my first time dining here and I want to mention this place has exceptional customer service.

Initially came in with my friend to grab takeout but realized after ordering there were a few seats (very limited) at this location if you want to dine there. After receiving our takeout order we proceeded to sit in the seats by the window front.

Before we could even take the first bite one of the staff came up to us and generously offered to grab us plates and some sauce for our karaage order. He even came back to offer us another order of the miso soup and salad (we had only one set from one of the daily specials we ordered) and their own soy sauce. This was above and beyond what we expected. The food was great and definitely hit the spot for my sushi craving. Everything we had was delicious.

We ordered the honey garlic karaage (proportion very generous), spicy salmon/tuna special (that came with miso soup and salad), sashimi app, spicy butterfish roll, and ventured to trying one of their deep fried rolls the california roll one. Lastly it will be worthwhile...

I ordered sushi here for dinner for me and my bf a few days ago and I got the premium salmon lover set and a few vegetarian rolls. The moment we opened up the container it smelled super super fishy and it was very unpleasant and stunk up our car. When I ate it, it also tasted super fishy and off so I didn’t eat it. I usually love kibo sushi, but this time it completely ruined it for me. The vegetarian rolls were fine for my bf, but because of the smell of the salmon, it wasn’t enjoyable for the both of us. I’m not sure if it was the batch of fish I had or because I ordered an hour before closing, but I would expect the fish to still be super fresh by the end of the day. I used to work at a sushi restaurant for 3 years so I’m aware of good...
