I was looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to enjoy a coffee. Found Le Bisou Cafe and visited with a friend. Upon entering, we were met by smiling faces and warm hospitality. The young lady working at the front was polite, friendly and welcoming. As a surprise, the owner came out to greet us and we felt so loved. The owner expressed her gratitude for us visiting. She wanted us to enjoy and feel at home. She explained that each and everything in her cafe, was homemade with the best, fresh and carefully crafted ingredients. Her desserts are aesthetically appealing and beautiful. They are all made with healthy fats and a suitable and nutritious sweetness level. The owner truly cares about her customers and their enjoyment of a treat. She takes the time to ensure its attractive appearance in a healthy wellbeing way. After trying her cappuccino and raspberry tart, we were blown away. The tart was handmade and created to keep the natural flavors and ingredients as the focal point. We loved that the owner left the raspberries natural, fresh and delicious. We loved that she did not mask the freshness with any additional additives. We are picky about what we enjoy and want to ensure foods are kept natural and not masked with unnecessary additives. It was absolutely delicious, fresh and delicate. My friend and I highly recommend this cafe. We cannot wait to visit again! We also Love the extra touch of a stamp card! Can't wait to return and collect more stamps and fill it up. Even if you just stop by to enjoy one of her treats or something to drink, you will love the warm atmosphere and friendly hospitality. We were also so delighted that the owner gave us a free extra treats to try! We were so surprised and grateful. Definitely a must when in the area. Also recommend this place to pickup treats for gift/ parties/ office events. Anyone would we love to receive a box of treats made by...
Read moreA Christmas Morning Delight at Le Bisou
I stumbled upon this quaint and slightly hidden gem, Le Bisou, on the snowy morning of Christmas Day. While the road had a steady flow of cars passing by, the sidewalks were quiet, making this spontaneous visit feel even more special.
Having checked Le Bisou online beforehand, I was already impressed by the extravagant and classic desserts, as well as glowing reviews. My visit, however, exceeded expectations, and I’m so glad I made the trip.
I was warmly welcomed by Anna, the owner of this charming, idyllic, and homely dessert café. She was an absolute pleasure to chat with and shared that the café has only been open since mid-November—hard to believe, given how refined and inviting it already feels. She clearly has a burning passion for the opportunity to live her realized dream of having her own cafe, and you can easily tell this by how much love she talks about every single delicacy and her approach to it.
The pastry display was stunning, and I treated myself to the iconic Paris-Brest paired with Peppermint Tea. It was the perfect combination—delicious without being overly sweet, just what I was looking for. I was also met with a surprise present, a 100% Olive Oil Biscotti, which was likewise amazing!!!
This visit, along with the wonderful conversation with you, Anna, truly brightened my morning and may have even made my day. Thank you so much for the warm hospitality, and I wish you all the best with the business!
Merry Christmas to you and your family—I can’t wait to...
Read moreI ordered the raspberry and blueberry tart, as well as the dark chocolate cookie.
For the price, I don’t think it’s worth it. I spent about $30 for these 3 items. I was excited to try, but I had some issues with the tarts.
The raspberry tart unfortunately, the raspberries were not fresh and I threw some away as they had black spots on them. Then, I also saw very little light brown thing running in the container. I’m not sure what it was, but maybe it’s from the fruits? I’ve never seen something like that before. The taste of the pastry itself was okay. It wasn’t amazing and I wouldn’t buy it again. The raspberries and blueberries had good flavour.
For the dark chocolate cookie, I was recommended to microwave for 15 seconds. I did so, and it did make it more melty and soft. Again, the flavour was okay. It wasn’t bad at all, but it wasn’t the most amazing cookie I have ever had. I wouldn’t buy again for the price point.
The service is very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and quiet. I wouldn’t mind going back in to sit and try some other items, maybe something that is more so prepared fresh so I can really try the flavour. I unfortunately had higher expectations for the price point of the sweets. Maybe their sandwiches and other pastries are more tasty!
I will say, the seating is quite tiny. I am a smaller person, so that is okay, but I would’ve liked to bring my boyfriend who is a 6’4 guy and I would be worried he would not be comfortable in the seating available. However, I understand as the shop itself is...
