Considering all the great reviews, I’m extremely disappointed by the service and the extreme tomato rationing. Our first visit last week involved being served coffee in a dirty mug and bacon that was possibly cooked for an hour longer than necessary but my husband and I chalked it up to a bad day, these things happen. We came again today to give them a second chance since the location is so convenient for us and LP and behold, our waiter had 5 tables yet couldn’t bring us menus for roughly 10 minutes. Once there we ordered immediately and requested coffee and water. After putting our order in he was then on his phone instead of bringing us our beverages. When they finally arrived he muttered about making a new pot, which doesn’t account for why we couldn’t have had any water while we wait. However, more shocking than the waiter’s inability to be timely (breakfast is fast-paced) was the discussion of tomatoes. I don’t enjoy fruit on my breakfast plate so I asked to swap it out for tomatoes, which he claimed would be extra. Being as tomatoes are local and the fruit often isn’t I was actually saving on food costs yet somehow this would be an extra charge and I still had to explain that I wanted my home fries. Not a good start but maybe the food would be the redeeming quality, or not. After being served on plastic dishes, my homefries were forgotten and had to be cooked. My husband never got his refill of coffee or even offered one. We finally got the bill and left to go to Starbucks for coffee and honestly, we’re just disappointed. If there is a manager they were not there and this waiter had clearly not been trained properly. Having been a waitress myself years ago, and having a lot of respect for those in the restaurant industry, it makes me sad that the art of service is lost in...

When this place delivers on its breakfast at its best, it makes for a very sweet, satisfying outing.
However, if there's one thing that is disappointing is when you don't meet with consistency.
Last Saturday, I was in serious need of a heavy breakfast and was left very disappointed.
It took longer than usual to get my breakfast, which didn't bother me as the room was very full and I understand how taxing brunch rushes can be on the kitchen staff.
When my plate did arrive, however, I was surprised at what I had waited for: seared bacon that was barely cooked - something the wait staff should never have accepted. I asked the waiter to return the bacon to the kitchen for proper cooking.
Then came surprise #2 - I got half the usual portion of hashbrowns AND only got two eggs instead of the three eggs that makes up the restaurant's name.
I recently moved to the area from the Junction, which was very restaurant-rich compared to this area, where many eateries have closed down due to the Eglinton construction project.
With a lack of predators in this market's eco-system, I'm afraid 3 Eggs might have grown too comfortable with its position.
I do feel a need to give props to Michelle - she is a top-notch,...
Read moreThis is my second visit to this place and I have to say that it is a great place to go. I scheduled a business meeting there because of the quite enviroment and the good service. I arrived before the other two participants just to realized that they changed their workings hours and we would have only 1 hr for the meeting. I kind of panic because due to construction on Eglinton there are not to many quite places in the area right now. I approach the staff and he was the owner. He quickly said "No worries, I will stay longer" That make my day. We we only three people , not a big crowd and he was willing to stay. That says a lot about this business. I'm the owner of a bookkeeping practice and every day I encourage my clients to remember the human part of their business, the one that gies beyond numbers or balance sheets, or money. I encourage them to ask themselves: how can serve my clients better today? 3 Eggs All Day Breakfast really knows how to do it!!! Congrats!. A finally note to those looking feedback...from previous visit. Proportions are big. Good quality, service is excellent and don't forget try the Home Burger!! Great place for...
