My boyfriend and I use to order from here very frequently on Uber eats they have the buy 1 get 1 free deal very often. I always ordered that deal but yesterday, we had such a horrible experience. We ordered 3 sets of buy1 get 1 free doubles and we got charged for more than the receipt showed, but then we only got 3. The delivery was better than the food. And the food came cold and soggy and was not the quality that we usually use to receive. We called and spoke with the girl that answers the phone there and right away she handed the phone to an older man. Didn’t get his name, but he has a heavy trini accent. He had the nerve to tell us to take it up with Uber. Uber was not the problem. It’s the same order we always got so we’re not sure why this time was different when the order was placed the exact same way. That man comes off as a crook. On top of the food quality being so poor, so was the customer service. I am more than disappointed in this place. Will NEVER be ordering from here again. This place use to be good, but I have a feeling the man I spoke to is the reason why this business is going downhill. The bad reviews I see here, I would be ashamed. Decided to try this location on Monday November 25th around 4pm since I was in the area. I purchased a few sweets, mainly pone and fudge, and a few other items totalling $49.65 and paid by debit. NOTE: I’m being very specific here as I no longer have my receipt but the proprietor can check their cash register roll if they doubt this review.
It wasn’t until I got home (at the west end of the city) that I noticed that two of the fudge had an expiry date of November 15th. I went to share one of the pone squares today, November 28th, and noticed it had mold on it. This must have been there for some time for this to occur.
Clearly, they’re lacking in QA and/or turnover is low. Also, the counter staff wasn’t knowledgeable about the products they were carrying as she couldn’t answer simple questions on the rum cake and other dishes.
I usually go to another place up the street from here but was on a time crunch and couldn’t make it there.

Read moreI placed an order for 12 oz pumpkin and 2 paratha on uber eats. My food was delivered the pumpkin smelled sour and tasted even worse, only received 1 paratha. Contacted uber support but they say that they will review and get back to me that was an hour ago…… still radio silence from uber eats. Contact the restaurant, the girl said to place another order on uber eats for the least expensive item and she will resend a new 12oz pumpkin an 2 paratha. So I said this is now going to cost more money, not just for another item but taxes and delivery fees. The girl says okay I can give you a credit in store, I said that doesn’t help me now cause I still have nothing to eat for lunch or any way to pick up the food from them. I asked if they quality check the food before sending it out and she said she doesn’t try the food. So she recommends to make me a new order and have it dropped off to me….. no ETA, now I don’t trust to provide an edible meal. So it’s not worth the time, money or hassle. Worst...
